Allow us to select a contact to be the default receiver of quotes. My main contact is usually a billing contact, and they are not usually the same person that is responsible for approving quotes. It would be very handy to be able to set that contact separately, or even to choose a contact from a drop down after selecting the client.

This should definitely exist! And since I pay extra to have expenses, I shouldn't have to pay extra extra to use an addon from another company...

Hi everyone, thanks for joining and supporting this idea.
We understand there are a few different use cases for why you'd like to attach a file to an asset within the Fixed Assets register, as well as transactions themselves.
To be upfront our team's current focus, like many areas of Xero, is on upgrading Fixed Asset technology, as we build greater consistency between Xero experiences, making it easier to learn and navigate Xero. Some of these changes may seem minor, but are critical in terms of delivering new and exciting value later on.
That being said, our team is researching what comes next and this is a focus because it is the most supported idea for Fixed Assets right now.
As we continue forming the future of Fixed Assets in Xero, we'll share if there’s any updates.

Why is this not already a thing? I have to check the mileage rate every time someone makes a submission when I should just be able to set it.

This was a big issue for us - I ended up making a "Quotes" user that everyone logs into to build quotes and the email goes to a shared mailbox. Not an ideal solution.

Appreciate the idea here - Being transparent, developing granular permissions or roles for every feature and action throughout Xero is not in our plans.
Understanding more of the permission sets majority of users need, will help understand where the biggest impact could be made.
I've slightly adjusted the title to suit the needs of the role you mentioned. We'll get a sense of others that'd like this too.

Thanks for all sharing and supporting how bulk reconciling transactions and suggestions that have been matched to statement lines in your bank would help your business.
It's great to see the trust you've built in Xero's capabilities to match and help you save time from manually finding and creating transactions to reconcile your bank.
Along with building on the foundations of our platforms, the teams efforts at present have been on improving the ability to create suggested transactions for more statement lines in your org - With a lot of this being backend logics there's not a heap you'll see from the front side of things but Xero's reconcile engine is getting stronger and overtime you should find even less need to create transactions in your org, yourself.
With this work underway there is no development for being able to reconcile transactions that have the 'OK' presented option atm,…

Hi everyone
We wanted to provide you an update on our progress for this idea as it’s very much something we want to make easier for you all. The feedback you’ve provided so far has been helpful. One of the big problems our Product team identified in this thread and in other customer research is how hard it is for customers to navigate their statement lines to gain a holistic view of the work they need to do and complete their work flows efficiently.
I’m pleased to share that they’re in the early stages of developing a solution that will help to improve this experience by combining a search tool with an increased number of statement lines being returned to the page.
