Thanks for the suggestion! I've made sure to pass your feedback on to the the team, we don't have any immediate plans for this but will be good to build the interest of this here and I can keep you updated if any plans are made.

Thanks for your feedback, Karen. 🙏
So others in the forum understanding what they're specifically adding their support for I've adjusted the title to reflect your first idea for filtering the Profit & Loss.
History of project activity is quite a different ask - we have an idea for recording history for all user activity that you may like to support and share in too. 🙂

Thanks for your interest in being able to send a PDF of an invoice via the Xero Network.
While this isn't something we're looking to develop atm. For those in AU and NZ you could look into sending e invoices via the Peppol network.
Through e invoices you can attach and include files as well as a PDF of the invoice - See more on Xero Central

I wonder if this could be integrated with a credit request form?
In any case, it would also be pretty cool to be able to send a message once a year with "Have your details changed in the last year? If yes, please use this link to update, if no please ignore/click this other button" - people often forget to update you when their details change, but if you make it easy for them, you're more likely to have the right info when you need it.

Today I was searching for a particular search term ("ACT Payroll Tax" except all lower case because it won't let me enter capitals), and you can see the result in my screenshot. I am in a contact, with the exact search terms listed as the first three words of the reference of every transaction in that contact. But not a single one shows up as a result of the search, nor does a different contact whose name includes those three words in the name ("ACT Revenue Office - Payroll Tax").
This is very suboptimal.

I say that about entering a space after the exact term because I believe that enabling part-matches as an option when exact matches cannot be found would mean that the exact matches that currently cannot be found for whatever reason will come under the category of part-matches and will be found.

I often find that the only way to get the Contact I'm looking for - even if I know the exact name - is to add a space on the end. You can see in the attached screenshots from multiple different clients that searching couldn't find the Contact, only the bills, and while I can get to the Contact via the bills, I'd much rather click straight to the Contact that was the reason I'm searching.

I've got a client whose old purchase orders I'm going through and cleaning up. I very much doubt that the purchase order from 2019 will ever get fulfilled, but it's not been delivered nor billed nor paid for, so marking it as billed is a lie, and I don't want to delete it because that erases it from existence in the history and of this supplier and the audit trail of my client. I doubt my client wants to forget that this particular supplier can be flaky!
Being able to mark an old purchase order as 'expired' or archive it would keep the history and audit trail.

Part of the reason this has historically not been available is because the definition of a day isn't standardised - I have clients whose work week is standardised to 38 hours (7.6 hours x 5 days) and clients whose work week is standardised to 40 hours (8 hours x 5 days), and they have slightly different rates of hours accrued per week worked.
Me, my minimum/standard day at work is currently 6 hours. When that changes to 8 hours, my accrued leave hours won't change, but if I had 4 x 6hr days banked leave, I would have 3 x 8hr days until I accrued more.

I'd really like to mark Projects as being invoiced monthly, fortnightly, or weekly, or being paid on RCTI which then needs to be reconciled.
