Hi everyone, we wanted to return and give a little more information with the update of this idea's status.
Our product team are currently looking into the development of adding the Pay now button to Customer statements which would enable your customers to pay for multiple invoices at once.
Though it's early days at present we'll keep you updated of their progress, here.

Hi community, we appreciate this idea has collected a fair amount of votes and commentary. This has all been feedback and taken seriously by our product teams.
Currently, there are ways to record a bad debt in Xero, depending on your tax registration status and how you want the transactions to be recorded in your reports - We have help for this on Xero Central you can draw into.
We don’t have any plans in the near term to expand functionality to develop a button to write off invoices or bills as 'bad debt'. If anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea!
An error occurred while saving the comment David Waterfield commentedWe know how to do it - but we want it to be easier; Is the invoice older than six months after end of trade credit terms tec etc. I don't think that xero's suggested way of accounting for any bad debt recovery actually agrees with Uk HMRC requirements; I think a bad debt recoveries account may be required; code the cash received to that account and deal with the VAT element accordingly - which I think should be reported in the Sales and Output VAT sections of a VAT Return; the bad debt recoveries account can be netted off the P&L reporting for bad debts; then there is no need to look at reversing bad debt journals.

Hi community, first off thank you for contributing and detailing why posting manual journals in a foreign currency is of interest to you all.
We appreciate our customers would like to see more capability in accounting for and dealing in foreign currencies across Xero.
In it's current form Manual Journals are a part of Xero that require some upgrade to uplift technology in order to provide capability for ideas like this to be considered. We have intentions of bringing attention to this over the coming year, however getting this done first is necessary before we can even think about adding newer functionality like journaling in another currency to the mix.
To set the expectation here, there is no work planned over 2023 for this feature. We know it's of high interest and when we're in a place to reassess we will share with you here.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your support for part disposal of Fixed Assets in Xero. Being transparent - current work for the team requires focus on upgrades to Fixed Asset technology.
However, we’re thinking of what comes next and partial disposal of an asset figures strongly in this. Please continue to detail your particular use cases here in Product Ideas.
As we continue forming the future of Fixed Assets in Xero insights from Product Ideas here will feed into the team's plans.David Waterfield supported this idea · -

Hello everyone, thanks for voting and commenting on this idea. Available right now is the short-term cash flow dashboard, which is a tool that visualises your future bank balance based on upcoming bills and invoices. The Analytics Plus version of this dashboard allows you to look 90 days into the future, and can make predictions for recurring cash transactions based on your spend and receive money history.
At this stage there are no plans to extend out the timeframe of this tool, or to account for balance sheet items but we’ll keep monitoring this idea, so please continue to add your feedback here on how this feature can improve your workflow.
If there’s any news to share, we’ll come back here and let you all now.

I'm not sure anyone at xero knows what to do to produce a meaningful reconciliation
