An error occurred while saving the comment VJ Boland commentedOur whole payroll held up for a day (ok became, 1st morning job to last minute as leaving for week job) after employee took ALL DAY to resubmit despite numerous requests. This is unacceptable to all as I should have been able to make the change necessary to complete the payrun. Please Xero let those holding all of the responsibility make the changes on timesheets as those not in payroll, often don't get the importance and impact of their actions on the wider workforce. I also wear about 20 hats of which payroll is one so it is imperative that it is timely and not having to wait for others.

An error occurred while saving the comment VJ Boland commentedThis is a similar (perhaps same) as thread AU Payroll: Leave requests for part time workers that dont work standard hours
perhaps we need to be able to link ideas so that we dont have multiple threads or tag someone so that we know that these have been seen?

An error occurred while saving the comment VJ Boland commentedThis organisation has multiple employees working across multiple projects. In order to reduce time and a manual process after pay, on the pay template I have calculated the hours per project per employee within their ordinary hours and each employee receives the same amount as agreed however across multiple lines.
The issue is that the 'annual salary' in the employment details in box to top right of payslip is only calculated on the first line which has caused confusion with employees, banks etc. I haven't even gotten to a group certificate yet so I don't know how its going to calculate this.
Please Xero would you put in a function where we can group the Ordinary Time earnings together to calculate properly instead of having to do journals after the fact.

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate all the interest and detail of where and why you'd like to attach files to employees in payroll.
As many will be aware, the team have been making a lot of changes across Payroll to accompany local regulation & compliance such as STP phase2.
With much of this work still on-going, we want to be open that there are no plans at present for this development. It is top of mind for the team, and will be reconsidered when resource becomes more available however we wanted to share and set expectation for the near term with you all, here.

An error occurred while saving the comment VJ Boland commentedI have just been told by Xero support that an hours template has not been requested yet here it is!
All staff in this business are on different part time agreements. Every time there is a public holiday or leave, its a manual calculation & then checking to make sure nothing has been missed. Christmas & new year was an overly manual and time consuming process with the annual leave & public holidays
I dont think its enough to push me onto Xero Me & hope employees do timesheets correctly as there is also the factor of Time off in Lieu (TOIL or TIL) for extra hours worked
Please xero create a roster like system where we can enter employee ordinary days & hours which will then remove the error prone, manual system that only accounts for Monday - Friday, 8 hrs a day
