Hi there 👋 appreciate your feedback on the recent release of our drag and fill feature within the invoicing table.

Appreciate this differs to what you're asking here, in being able to copy and paste contents from another source into line items.

In terms of moving lines around, it's possible to drag an entire line up or down your rows. Just click and drag from the 6 dots to the left of the table.

We want to be upfront copy paste of information isn't something we have plans for atm, but will share if there's any progress here.

I would like to agree that the blue dot and segmented box is annoying, extremely distracting when processing invoices

Hi everyone, it's great to have the insights from your support and comments here. We understand how sending overdue statements would help in cashflows and reduce steps in following up on the most important payments from customers.

We appreciate the needs you've shared and want you to know this is high on our teams radar. While it's not on the roadmap just yet, this is something we'd like to address and the team have done some initial discovery of.

We'll be sure to share further updates on this with you all, here.

Hi team, I know it's been some time since we last updated this idea. Please know we have close eyes on this feature and this is a change our product team are currently working on.

While we can't give a definite timeframe work is progressing well and we'll keep you updated of when this is available, here. Thanks for your engagement with us through product ideas.

I would support you investigating putting the save buttons and approve and email buttons to the bottom of the invoice. We are a smaller business but have lots of items on our invoices for certain customers and this drives me crazy having to scroll back up, I feel for the businesses that have hundreds of invoices they have to do this for. I am sorry but it makes no sense at all to have them at the top! Please please reconsider this

Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.

Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.

While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.

Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.

We do regularly review all ideas here, and your input is vital. We'll…

Thanks everyone, for continuing to share your experiences and examples here. We’ve been following the recent comments and really appreciate the added detail around the challenges this creates in real payment runs, particularly where credits need to be reflected alongside bills so supplier statements and remittances stay aligned.

This March, we released the ability to find and match credit notes when reconciling, which was another highly requested idea on Xero Product Ideas.

We recognise this is an end-of-process solution and doesn’t address the core need raised in this idea. As a quick update from my last post, we’ve done some early exploration into the technical requirements needed to solve the pain points mentioned. This is a complex area to get right, as it touches multiple parts of the bill payments and credit note experience.

At this stage, our focus remains on continuing to develop our bank-agnostic payments solutions across regions,…
