232 votesHi team, we appreciate all the feedback this idea has received over time. With our reimagined navigation this is something our product teams considered closely, however there is a bit of work involved to achieve what's being asked and we want to be open it's not in the roadmap right now. However, we're keeping a pulse on the feedback here and will be sure to share if there's any progress. Thanks Rebecca Pryor

52 votesHi Maddy, may depend on how the stock is being recorded in Xero and reconciled with Figured - would the Inventory Item Details report be of use here? You could group by Item name, include Expense, Inventory & Revenue accounts, as well as QoH movement to view the total # of units sold in the period you're running the report for. Rebecca Pryor

176 votesHey Community, thanks for all the support shown for this idea. We understand that the core of this request is for business owners and payroll admins to be able to view, edit and complete draft timesheets. Our product teams have carefully considered this, however we want to be upfront that developing this capability isn't on our foreseeable roadmap at this time. The idea will remain open for votes so we can continue to gauge interest, as it will be important for when we next review our payroll priorities. Thanks again for sharing with us here, we really do value your input. An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Pryor

416 votesHi everybody, coming across from the previous forums we know this idea has a lot of interest. There is a way of using Xero's reports to accomplish what you're asking here and save the format so you can easily access and send this report to your customers outside of Xero. Running the Aged Receivables detail report you can choose how many ageing periods you'd like to show and set the period to '30 days'. Simply Filter the report by Contact and Update to run. - Once you've got it set up, save as Custom so you can easily access this format anytime
- If you deal with groups of contacts this also means you could Filter for multiple contacts to combine the view into one report rather than multiple customer statements 🙂
- Export the report to PDF, where you can send to customers from your email system outside of Xero

commentedI agree with all the other accountants here. The ageing table is something that most other programs do or at least have the functionality to add in an advanced template. This feature is highly requested and common practice. Sending a statement should not involve printing custom internal reports.

I agree. I have a client that has recently moved to Xero Payroll. Their previous payroll software allowed the client to view the employee draft timesheets and track their hours. This ensured employees weren't completing too many hours. On a large agricultural property where employees are not always in sight, this is crucial. Currently my client now has to wait until the timesheets are posted to see the hours for the previous pay period.
