Hi Amanda, Tracking was originally designed to be used as a way to track and monitor parts of the business that did not have a lifespan like departments. Appreciate there are many different ways our customers have grown to use tracking, and we'll start to track the interest in this through your idea. But do want to be open that we don't have any plans for this at present.

Thanks for this feedback on how pension enrollment currently works in Xero payroll. It’s been a little while since you raised this idea, so we wanted to check in. We can see this idea has been steadily gaining support. Our product team are keeping an eye on this idea and we will continue to share updates as things evolve.
In the meantime, here's a tip to trigger pension assessment before posting the pay run:
- With the pay run in draft click Post.
- When the Automatic pension enrolment pop up displays, click Confirm.
- On the Complete Pay Run pop up, click Cancel.
- You can now open the draft payslip or download pay run reports with the pension deductions included.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important streamlining P45 distribution is for your payroll workflow.
It’s not currently possible to send P45’s directly from Xero. Our product team is actively exploring ways to enhance employee self-service features. While specific plans for this feature are not yet finalised for the immediate roadmap, this area remains a key focus for future development. We've moved this idea to Accepted.
We'll keep you posted if anything changes. In the meantime, you can download P45s from Xero and send them via your usual email software.

Hey all, thanks for sharing your interest in a payroll product for Ireland. Being upfront, we don't have any plans in the near term for developing specific payroll products for other regions. We will move the idea to Not in pipeline.
If you need to process payroll there are app partners available through our Xero app store, we encourage you to review their app store listings to see which is the right fit for your business.

Our Irish Company runs a UK payroll and is registered with HMRC for NI etc, Xero will not allow us to us ethe payroll subscription on this company due to is being setup as Irish, we want to be able to run our UK payroll on Xero instead of another external programme (Bright pay for example)

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important automated holiday pay calculations are for you.
We’re updating the status of this idea to Accepted to show it's formally on our radar.
While we’ve already explored several options to automate holiday pay calculations, for the time being this is not a feature we have planned in our roadmap.
We understand some of you are managing these calculations manually. We’d suggest running the Payroll Activity Summary or Gross to Net report over a 52 week period to assist with these calculations.
We’re grateful for your feedback and will continue to monitor interest here.

It's been a little while since this idea was raised & we wanted to touch base with an update. We can see that this idea has been steadily gaining support, so have updated the status.
There is also a similar idea that is Australian specific called AU Payroll | Payslip - Change formatting of payslip file name so we've linked any Australian based supporters to the correct region and made this idea UK specific.
Our product team are keeping an eye on this idea and if there are any future updates, we'll let you know!

Thanks for sharing your idea on RTI amendments. As you're aware, in Xero payroll any amendments need to be processed with an unscheduled pay run. When posted this submits a new RTI to HMRC with updated YTD figures rather than updating the previous RTI.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important it is for your business to have monthly salaried employees complete timesheets for tracking and reporting purposes, without impacting pay run calculations.
Some of you have found workarounds like approving timesheets after processing pay runs, although this may create challenges down the line.
Our product team is currently undertaking a wider review of timesheets, and this idea will be included in that process. Therefore we're updating this idea to Accepted. We'll keep you updated if there are any developments on this.

I can't believe that this has not been implemented and this request dates back 4 years now, it makes no sense, it really should flag before e.g. a note or something on the draft that they are eligible based on what is on the draft payslip. The 3-year reenrolment caused huge problems for us as well!
