Reporting - Profit and Loss format to show EBITDA
Can we please have a few new GL Account categories so that the P&L can be printed in the standard format to show EBITDA, EBIT, Profit before Tax and Profit after Tax.
Should be a fairly simple addition to the available categories, to add Interest, Depreciation and Tax as categories would enable this.
This could also help with the enhancement of the Cashflow Reports.

Hi team, we've now introduced Xero Analytics in which you can achieve what you're after here.
With the Business Health scorecard you can create EBITDA and EBIT metrics.
In addition, you can exclude these accounts in your widgets on the Xero Analytics dashboard as well as in the visualisations.

EBITDA, EBIT... what a great service to provide. Xero, you're always too slow to make changes. Its now May 2025, Peter Miles asked for this in 2023. I've been waiting longer than that. I do have Net profit only, but not Depreciation + Interest + Taxes which is not good enough to run this report. Get your act together Xero, get this up and running pls. If there is some =way I can do it, there should be a Q&A, which there is not... ake it happen.
