Hey everyone, we appreciate a lot of recent activity and trend in this idea especially with Pay Day Super coming.
As mentioned in my last updated this is an idea our product teams are keeping a close pulse on and we want you to know this is high on our agenda, likely to be picked up later this year.
While we can't provide any commitments as yet, we'll share another update here as soon as there's progress.

At least 2 people to authorise so that if one is away and uncontactable there is a backup.

Thanks for your idea, Katie. Appreciate how you've thought of multiple ways we could help in the process you're after here.
While we'll gain specific interest in being able to change a bill to a spend money from your idea here, I also wanted to highlight this one for being able to set up separate emails in a contact for different transaction types. I've made sure to add your vote to that too so if there are any updates to tackle this from that view you'll be notified, too.

Basic example of summary required is in the picture below. This layout basically contains the details of the Profit and Loss by Tracking Categories report but as a summary and without General Ledger Accounts. The current profit and loss only allows the tracking categories to be across the top as columns but sometimes you just want a summary of the Categories themselves and if you have lots of categories it is easier to read having them down the page as rows instead.
The Tracking Category summary report shows them as rows but only allows you to show one section of general ledger accounts at a time.
The Account Transaction report filtered by category only shows a detailed view, not a summary and doesn’t show the net profit at the bottom.
I use tracking categories for fundraising events and activities of our non profit. It would be great for our committee volunteers could view this information quickly without having to add things up themselves or change in excel.
I’m sure a drill down function would be great for this too, but this format would be a great start.
An option to hide category options with 0 in both income and expense would be required, as would a filter to choose which tracking category header you are doing the report for and dates.
I imagine this would also work well for funded projects.

Thanks for your continued engagement and valuable feedback on this long-standing idea, everyone. We've been carefully reviewing your comments and want to acknowledge the clear sentiment of frustration regarding the current limitations around managing multiple addresses for contacts, particularly for invoicing and delivery purposes, and that this is a critical feature to many of you.
We want to share an update on our progress here - We're pleased to confirm that the foundational work for handling multiple addresses has been completed within the Contacts area of Xero. This was a crucial first step. Building on this, now that all customers are on the new invoicing experience our product team has moved into the discovery phase for adding multiple addresses directly within invoicing. This means they are actively exploring the best way to implement this functionality to meet your needs effectively.
We appreciate your patience as we work through the complexities…

Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.
Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.
While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.
Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.
We do regularly review all ideas here, and your input is vital. We'll…

Agree with the dual signatories option for this. Would be better to have this facility.
