    Is there a specific reason you'd like to remove this option from your organisation, Ben. For example would this be for certain user roles, or based on your business processes would you want to remove this for everyone? 

  2. Sales Overview screen needs improving to show percentage increase in invoices sent, month on month. Attached is an example to show how it needs to be drastically improved to be like. Companies basically could raise capital off this screen - come on Xero! Please improve the screen to be like this example.

  3. Allow any field from the company or contact field to be added to report columns. e.g. Company account ID so once a report is downloaded we can use Vlookup and consolidate data from several different reports, Company City, or State so we can evaluate sales based on geography. The currently available columns in the Reporting are very restrictive and do not allow a business to make smart decisions as data is scattered or not available easily.

    Hi Lynx, appreciate raising your idea in community. While we don't intend to make every field of a contacts record visible in every report appreciate your detail around the Location and Contact Account Number that you'd like to be able to view. Are there any specific reports you'd find this most useful in? 

  4. Occassionally a debit order fails/ bounces after a considerable amount of time, after the receipt has already reflected on a customer statement. In this case, I should be able to reverse the receipt without removing it from the Accounts Receivable account.

    For example, a debit order runs in March and bounces several weeks later in April, after the customer has received a statement.

    E.g. end of March they receive a statement showing

    Opening Balance 0
    Invoice 100
    Receipt -100
    Closing Balance 0

    When the receipt now bounces in April, their next (April) statement should begin with what the closing balance…

  5. Ability to remove value from online quote. This will allow templated quotes to be used where a total value isn't used and individual pricing is set per task. Dependant on the job there are specific rates per brick etc. Which is calculated at the end of a job bet the rate is set at the start therefore we need people to accept our quote (rates) but the total (quantity) wouldn't be determined until job completion.

  8. Cash flow flow to allocate the figures according to the invoice transaction, not the payment transaction.
    Currently, When a part payment is added to an invoice with multiple line items that are coded to different accounts, the amount is split to those lines based on each item's amount in relation to the total of the invoice.

The online invoice sent to customer (not the PDF) and invoice in Xero only show the Item description and not the Item name or Code, this is not right as it means if we add personal details to the item on the invoice it isn't possible to tell what the item is without doubling up the Name in the Item description

  12. It would be nice to have a business overview dashboard similar to QuickBooks. The existing Xero dashboard is designed for bookkeepers and doesn’t have any valuable insights for business owners. Perhaps it would be better to have two different tabs on the dashboard, one for bookkeepers, and another one for business owners.

  14. When draft invoice/s are created via eInvoicing (Peppol network) will xero introduce the ability to call in/ match the invoice against a PO in xero (& subsequently mark the PO as billed)?
    Many of us are required to raise PO's for our purchases - so this would be a handy feature!

  15. Invoice in Projects - ability to combine time entries of employees to show total hours per employee

    At the moment when you create an invoice in Projects, all the individual time entries are shown which can be 2-3 pages long. It would be great to have an option to combine all time entries per employee over a selected period so that the invoice doesn't have to be 2-3 pages long showing time entries done by each employee when all we need is one line item per each employee.

    Does this need to be on an employee basis, Jay? 

    At present, you can either create an invoice based on the Task or based on Time entries. 

    To confirm at present you can summarise the time entries by selecting to invoice as a Task - but appreciate this doesn't allow the individual lines for a employee breakdown

    Hi Angeline, currently once you 'Make a payment' for a batch payment you'll be taken to the payment transaction so you could decide whether to send remittance or export the file for up;load to your bank. 

    While not a complete resolve for your idea here, you may find the ability to set a default page for your new bills experience useful so when you select 'Bills to pay' from the Business menu you're automatically taken to your Awaiting payment tab? 

  17. When we rebill a transaction to a client that was already paid, if the amount is paid in Euros, for example €5,000, when I issue the next invoice to this customer, the expense automatically shows up to be included in this invoice. The issue is, when I choose this transaction, even though my invoice is also being billed in Euros, the amount is automatically converted to GBP (my company a/c's currency) and then is converted back to Euros so the amount to be rebilled shows us as a different figure either positively or negatively in my favour depending upon the…

  18. It would be useful to see the Date and Contact Name associated with each invoice and expense that is shown in Projects, rather than clicking to view each one each time.

    This is particularly important now that we have realised that those with Projects access but not Standard User access to Xero cannot view the invoices or expenses to see that detail.

  19. Generate a pick list of items once the customers make a payment similar to how with the push of a button you can turn quotes to an invoice. Pick list will be used for internal record keeping.
