  1. I want to disable Xero from autofilling my tracking categories on invoices. I regularly invoice a client but the invoice tracking category differs regularly. I'm sick of having to correct the autofilled tracking category to the correct selection.

    There also appears to be a bug in this area. When I delete/amend the invoice tracking category that has been autofilled and then alter any part of the line item it reverts the tracking category to whatever it was originally, which is really annoying me.

    It would be very helpful to have the option to search for debits or credits only when searching for a specific transaction in the bank feed.

  3. Since the new update on invoices, you can no longer send a reminder invoice when the accounts are locked. This seem a bit silly as you are not changing the invoice just simply sending a reminder. To do this now i have to go and unlock the accounts the the month which the invoice is dated, send the reminder and then re-lock the accounts.

    Please can this be changed back as it is a waste of time

  4. The new mobile functionality for Outstanding Invoices adds more steps to being able to see when an invoice is due.

    In the past, it was a one button press into Outstanding Invoices and it was easy to see the dates for when all invoices were due.

    With the new system, now when you press into Outstanding Invoices, you cannot quickly see the due dates, and it's cumbersome to have to dig into each client by pressing View all invoices, only to then be able to see the due date.

    Thanks for your feedback on the change in the mobile app, Mike. I've passed this onto the team however do want to be upfront that there's no immediate plans around this atm. 

    Instead, the 'Sales' tab invoice list screen might help what you're trying to view. This will show all the invoices and due dates in the same screen. 

  5. When running reports such as Aged Receivables it would save a lot of time if you could choose your dates etc before it downloads the info. It uses the default - you have to wait for that to download before you can then enter the actual dates you want and press update - then you wait again!.

  7. Can’t believe I need to ask for this. Apparently “The mobile app doesn't display transfer rule information”, only spend and receive.

  8. In the Monthly Bank Rec Report can we PLEAASE remove the HUGE, space wasting , obsolete text "The bank balance your bank is showing and Statement balance (calculated) must match. If the balances don't match you'll need to identify why and fix any errors." at least an option to deleted PLEASE!!!

  10. For all Xero Projects expenses, the only way to add the Expense name is to add a description for each expense. When we're tracking spend monies, receipts & invoices, this is a time consuming/ inefficient process. It would be ideal for the project expense to simply show the supplier name (when there's no description field added).

  11. I still don't understand why Xero rounds any amounts? Could we have an option to disable all rounding in Xero. I have just left MYOB after 10 years, they never did anything like this. I moved to Xero on advice from my accountant, starting to regret this! Leave it as an option for whoever is rounding stuff (very werid), but please give me a checkbox that totally disables rounding. Please!

Auto-reconciliation for transactions and invoices/bills - I appreciate that the manual reconciliation is to allow for oversight and management of transactions, but when you have several thousand transactions in a month, reconciling them all is very tedious, especially when 99% of them is just clicking "OK" after checking that the names/references match!

    Auto-reconciliation would be an amazing timesaver, even if it was just for transactions where the references or customer names onn payment and invoice/bill match. Please consider adding this!

  15. When running the Transactions by box number tab of the GST F5 Return, the Invoice Number will not be shown if we have already entered a reference on the invoice.

    If there is no reference entered, Xero will then show the Invoice Number under the 'Reference' column instead. Screenshot attached.

    This makes it difficult to do checking as most users do use the reference when creating invoice but showing the reference usually does not have much significance to the accountant/bookkeeper who is doing the checks for GST submission.

    We do hope that the Invoice Number column can also be shown…

  16. When sending an email from an email client, you have the ability to ask for a delivery receipt - for notification when the email arrives at the destination server. I'd like the same ability when I send an invoice by email from Xero.

    Currently, in order to get an email delivery receipt, I have to send the invoice to myself via Xero (so that I have the links in the email correct) and then forward using an email client to the customer. Obviously, from an audit trail point of view, this is suboptimal.

  17. Hi there, I would like to be able to assign line items (that are the same) on a bill to multiple customers.

    i.e. 2 x oil filters, assign ONE of each to separate customers without having to enter them on separate lines on the bill to do so.

    Also, when creating an invoice and viewing "items to assign to a customer" I would like to be able to see the Supplier AND their invoice number in that list.

  18. When searching for transactions, be they Invoices or Bills, it would be handy if the Search Box/Panel could be pinned in place. It is time consuming when changing from bills/invoices awaiting payment or paid to then search in a different section, the criteria needs to be re-entered. Double entry takes time that could be best suited doing other things. This would also be handy when searching bank transactions across multiple bank accounts.

  19. Once a GST return is filed, rather than creating a bill could there be an option to 'convert this GST return into a bill'? Then it will sit in the payables report (as a reminder to set the payment!)

  20. Should be an added feature of having the option to set a standard credit limit at the one time for all customers instead of having to enter each one individually. This can be edited for each customer later on.
