  1. On the reconcile it would be really useful to add a note to transactions on the left hand side of the screen so it's easy to reference the correct invoice/account later on - we take deposits long before the invoice is finalised and this is hard to track back sometimes, particularly when making a cash deposit to the bank or the money has come in on the card machine and could be much faster if a note could be left with the account it relates to until it can be reconciled.

  2. In the old version of Bank Reconciliation Summary report, the headers "Balance in Xero" and "Statement Balance" sitting with its balance amount in the same row.

    After updated to the new version, the report, https://reporting.xero.com/!bX2sj/v1/Run/1066 for example, the balance falls different row of its title. It doesn't make sense and this would make it complex because you are not able to use scripts or Vlookup to manage those report (if they are not align in the same row).

    Could you please consider
    1. moving the balance amount to the same row of its header, or
    2. Adding a description for…

  3. It would be great to have a status on quotes for when you have chased a quote. We can add a date of this and details of what has happened in notes, however if it could show as chased on the first screen under status, this would make more user friendly.

    When you say filtering by 'cost code' - would this be an account or tracking category you've set up n the organisation, Kaytie? 

    If you can also share some detail of what you'll use the report for specifically this'll help when sharing back with our product teams. It's good for them to understand how a particular type of report or setup could help a business.

  7. I would find it really helpful to be able to see the amount of the invoice and the 'overpayment' on the Bills and the Sales Invoices screens after they have been 'matched. Currently the amount for both shows as zero.

  8. Clients can view and download invoice attachments after paying the invoice. Lawyers, accountants, engineers, architects, can benefit from automatically being paid for their reports, documents etc before clients can get access to them.

  9. I work with many architects who request quotes/invoice from our company on behalf of their client
    At the moment we have to create a new contact entry for every client such as
    ABC company on behalf of Fred Bloggs
    ABC company on behalf of Samantha Smith
    If there was an optional field, say "on behalf of" that we could include in the quote/invoice such as
    on behalf of [client name]
    The default would be the same as now
    ABC Company
    However, if the "on behalf of" option was selected a new field would appear in the quote/invoice [Client Name]

  13. We sometimes get Credit Notes which change the price of the items. We don't want to credit the whole item, simply want to adjust the price but Xero doesn't seem to have a straightforward option for this.

  14. Font size of Depreciation Schedule

    The more assets the smaller the font gets, Some columns can be taken out,but we do not want that. There should be the flexibily to choose portrait & landscape and over how many pages the schedule will be generated.

  16. When creating a schedule in the Notes to the Financial Statement, at present you can't include an opening balance at the schedule level, only once you have created a group within the schedule. It would be useful, if this could be done. Other reports like the Statement of Changes in Equity do have this option, so it should not be difficult to include this.

  17. I work a lot with quotes and 99% of the time I am interested only in Draft quotes. So I select "Draft" but everytime I select a quote to change it, after I close a change quote screen and I return to the list of quotes, the list is shown again with "All" quotes. Why doesn't Xero keep the selection criteria to re-show the list? I literally have to re-select "draft" hundreds of time per day. It doesn't make sense to me... The same applies to the search criteria in the top part of the screen. If I want to…

  19. Uncoded statement lines report available under 'Manage Account' and preset to that bank account.

    If this report was available under the Manage Account arrow it would be much easier to find and print/process.
