Requiring Xero customers or suppliers to comply with your software limitations is not very forward thinking. Xero is a huge organisation, surely someone can create the workaround so that emails can simply be forwarded to our Xero file inboxes without having to take additional administrative time and effort?

We need to be able to stay out of their junk mail. All the Xero emails include links, especially the link to invoice is crazy in this day and age. 'Click on this link and give me your credit card' is a major red flag, and I've started getting push back from clients. We've stopped sending them from Xero, and stopped using the Stripe etc because of this.

I have troubles with one suppliers invoices when emailed I can not drag them direct from the email into xero.
They get send as PDF file
No problems with other invoices from other wholesalers??

This is an important feature to have. What is the ETA?

This quirk was bothering me so much I built a tool to convert and upload the inline body of an email to Xero Files along with any attachments. Check it out at https://emailtoxero.com/

The way you use it is by replacing the domain part of your unique Xero Files email address with inbound.emailtoxero.com.

This should be a standard feature. We all receive pdf invoices which need to be transferred to Xero

it is a goog idea that some contents are on the email body only, but they won't be saved in Xero Files.

We would also appreciate this feature. Not only from emails, but from any cloud based program (eg: a workflow program).

I notice it is possible to do it to an Expense entry, but not to a Bill entry.

Many of our bills arrive as emails.

It would be great if we could drag and drop an email onto a transaction and have it attached.

At the moment, I export the email to PDF and attach it. This would save me a mountain of time.
