We should be able to write on this app as well, like if we took a longer lunch hour or why we had to work back and get over time, this is a simple app that makes so much more work for all. It’s just common sense we should be able to comment or attach files to our time sheet!

Having supporting documents to leave would be a time saver and an easy reference checker.

I feel like I should be able to LIKE all these comments supporting this idea to show my support. Thank you to all those who continue to push this very worthwhile and time-saving idea.

surely should be a very simple fix to add documents to a system that already allows you to upload documents elsewhere!

We act as payroll administrators for a lot of our clients. Being able to file medical certificates along with personal details, tax file declarations direct to xero employees would greatly assist with legal requirements.

Add a file attachment section into Employee 'Notes' section so we can upload Licenses, medical certificates, contracts etc

This will provide a great convenience, very efficient.

This would be a huge benefit for us if we could attach documents to payslips, please could this be considered

Agree with Joelle's comment. And using files will not be appropriate as it is open to any user, not just users with payroll access.

With working from home being a normal concept in many businesses now, it would be good to be able to attach contracts and other important files to the employee contacts. I have many requests to supply these type of documents and do not have access to them until I go to the office. Having them easily available would be a benefit, especially for long time employees whose contracts may be in archives.

We can easily upload files for Purchase Orders and Invoices so I would not have thought it would take much to add this most important feature to the Employee section

I'd like to see this function too as it would be good to send important safety information to all team members

The ability to upload documents (pdf) in employees payrun or with the payslips for future reference, this will help with all information in one system and area

It would be amazing to have an upload document tab in xero employee tabs, it would keep it all with the employee and not visible to all staff.

I think this is a feature Xero needs to consider. If would be handy to upload documents to the employees card, eg: ID documents, licences or certificates that are required to for employment (eg builders licence) employment agreements just to name a few. At the moment I'm adding the employee to the contacts to upload documents but this is not ideal for security reasons.

It would be amazing to have an upload document tab in xero employee tabs. Streamline all documentation for employees. Sick leave certificates, timesheets, leave requests, employee information documents, TFN, Super, Apprenticeship information etc. We can save this in the company files, however would be easier and save room if this option was available.

It would be great to have another tab in an employees profile where contracts and any other signed documents can be uploaded for the individual.

Hello, there are many valid reasons and points raised below to put this function in. As Xero are making changes across the payroll function, would it not be feasible to add this function. Next stage would be to enable employees to complete required documentation via Xero such as TFN decs, employee personal details.
