AU Payroll - Adding the USI to the Add Employee Superannuation Membership
When adding a new employee's super fund, being able to add the fund by entering the USI number.
If that can't be done, at least show the USI next to the super fund name so we can make sure we are selecting the correct super fund.
Currently to make sure I am selecting the correct super fund in Xero when adding a new employee, to confirm the USI I need to go to my organisation, settings, payroll settings, superannuation and then, because I can't sort alphabetically or search for a fund name or USI, I basically have to add a new super fund to enter the USI and that will then tell me if I already have that fund in my Xero and what it is called, to go back into adding a new employee and selecting the right fund name.

This is a very costly exercise to select a wrong super fund and have it bounced back and then by this time be late paying the super. The super rules are not flexible!!
The super will no longer be a tax deduction and then a Superannuation Guarantee form needs to be completed and sent to the ATO along with the additional admin fees and interest on top of the super being paid.

Extremely important that we need to be able to see the USI next to the super name. We should be able to start typing in the super fund name or the USI to be able to find the super fund.
While some Xero users may not have many super funds for those that do, trying to find the correct super fund in the current format is not in the users favor at all.
Please at the very least add the ability to see the USI next to the name of the super fund.
But would love to be able to serach by fund name or USI and have both the name and USI displayed to confirm correct fund.
In the Payroll Settings for starters it would be great if the super fund were at least in alphabetical order. But we should also have the ability to sort by either fund name or USI.

This is critical. It is stupid that you cannot add by USI and even more stupid that, when searching by name, you can't see the full name and USI next to it.
Given that Xero provides the ability to set all this stuff in their software, they should bear some of the responsibility of us being able to set it correctly so we aren't running afoul of the ATO etc.
I can tell you in no uncertain terms that if I do happen to run afoul of the ATO because something is done incorrectly I'll be damned sure to throw Xero under the bus if the mistake is due to their badly designed or implemented systems.

Definitely want this and the ability to be able to sort the super fund by any of the columns in Payroll Settings.
I just had this happen were two super funds were practically identical but because in the Employee tab section you cannot see the USI, I selected the wrong one.
This can take you from paying your super on time to being late!!!!!!

This is the exact item I came here to ask. It is a major time drain when I enter a new employee. So many funds have similar names

Yes, I agree!
I'm sure plenty of time could be saved if we had the ability to see the USI beside the fund name when selecting a Super fund for an employee. -

This has caused issues with failed super payments due to some super funds with similar names but different USIs. If the USI was listed with the name at the time of selecting under the Employee profile, a lot of admin time would be saved.

This will allow users to ensure the correct fund is selected when nominating in the employee card.

This is causing issues with failed super payments due to some super fund with similar names but different USIs. Please Xero update the add and employee pages to include the USI reference as suggested by Joelene above.
