    Totally agree with this, i have about 4 Mercer super funds set up now and some of them with only 1 extra word in the name of the fund. Creating a lot of delays with returned monies. Also, you cannot search or sort on the payroll settings page by any columns.

    Our company needs the ability to have different access levels within payroll.
    We have team members involved with the weekly payroll, that are not permitted to view Manager's payroll information (i.e. Salaries) for personnel within the Fortnightly or Monthly payroll.

    Our weekly payroll is for casual personnel so this is has a larger group of employees involved so the workload is shared.

    I find it unusual that all other areas of Xero have different levels of access ie. Submitter, Approver and Admin, why is there not varying levels within payroll.

    Suggestion for restructuring of payroll could be as follows:

    * Restrict Submitter to either Weekly or casual personnel categories.
    * Approver could have access to all employees/ payroll.
    * Admin has access to the super lodgements and STP filing. etc.

    Hi community we appreciate your interest and sharing how we could improve payroll for your business. Each regions payroll has been designed and built separately to meet regional requirements, and taking this into consideration development for being able to view future leave balances would also be worked on separately.

    We have an separate ideas that have been started for this in the AU version, another for NZ payroll, and I'll adjust the title of this idea for UK specifically. We will keep you updated on any progress of this on these ideas.

    I'd highly encourage adding your vote to the relative idea based on the region of payroll you use. Thanks

    I am using Xero for 4 different organisations, it would be great to set the colours to ensure i have a visual for the different companies.

    As a labour hire company, we load the timesheets from the supervisors, not the worker. Is there a way we can add timesheets for all personnel to a project without them having to be a user of projects or Xero? We would be happy to pay for the personnel users in Payroll. As a transient business we could be using anywhere up to 200 personnel in a year and some of them may only work for one week,
    We may also have multiple projects within the week so assigning costs to projects is imperative.

    Hi community, thanks for the strong support in being able to attach files within Xero Payroll, both for employee records and pay runs. We really appreciate you sharing the value and efficiency this could create for you when working with Xero. It's evident that being able to store important documents like licenses, sick notes, and onboarding papers directly in Xero would remove the need for external storing systems or manual processes.

    We acknowledge it's not the end goal but wanted to highlight the use of apps, as some have shared like Dext, to help bridge this gap in the meantime.

    I want to assure you that enabling attachments in payroll is part of our long-term intentions. However, to deliver this functionality effectively and reliably, we first need to develop some foundational elements within our payroll platform.

    Hey community, 👋 thanks for all your support on this idea, I’m pleased to let you know that this has been delivered for UK Payroll initially! It includes the ability to select the date range you’re interested in, and check boxes to either select all results or multiple. Then you can download your selection as a single PDF of multiple payslips.

    For users in AU and NZ we know this is a highly anticipated feature, however to be open this is not any immediate plans for those teams so we’ll leave this idea open. While we appreciate it doesn’t help employers needing bulk downloads, employees can be invited into the Xero Me portal to self-serve payslip collection.
