Thanks for your continued engagement with us on this idea, everyone. We understand there are many different ways business work and conduct business with customers, and that you need more flexibility in the way you manage and receive payments for invoices with Xero. While pockets of research have been done in the past we’re getting a fresh lens and conducting a broader piece of discovery to deeply analyse and understand where our efforts could be focused in this space to alleviate existing hurdles in receiving payments for majority of Xero users. We’d like to open the invite to be a part of our teams research pool, where you’d get the chance to share more on the importance of managing payments for your business. This may involve being interviewed, or helping answer questions through short surveys or questionnaires.
✍️ If this is something you’d like to be a part of, please …

Hi team, we pleased to share that we've released some more features, enabling more users to pay suppliers without logging into your bank!
For our UK customers we've made paying overseas suppliers easier with international bill payments.
Using open banking, you can now securely send money to 180+ countries including Europe (EUR), America (USD) and Australia (AUD). So you don't have to juggle multiple platforms or hidden fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once, authorise payments prepared by your team and easily track which suppliers have been paid.
We've also just launched bill payments in Xero for customers in the US, powered by BILL.
You can make simple, secure payments directly from Xero. You'll be able to authorize payments prepared by your team, and easily track which vendors have been paid. Plus, gain access to millions of vendors over the BILLTM network, and…

We appreciate wanting to see more rapid movement, everyone. Having done a lot of exploration into this area our team have a good handle on the needs to solve this, however we want to be honest that development will be some time away with the team currently focused on improving bills list views and updating add/edit bill pages. For the time being to keep you up to date we're going to move this idea back to Submitted until more active work takes place for this.
I can assure you this idea is the best place to be leaving feedback for this feature, and Xero Product Ideas as a whole is the best place to be sharing where you'd like to see change across Xero products. As a community team we're advocating on your behalf constantly to see where ideas can be worked on, and this site is where our product…

Hi Donald, I've updated the title of your idea to make this simpler for others that are interested to find.
Though we don't have a report that'll show the payment method atm, you could run the Receivable or Payable Invoice Detail reports to view much of this information.
Once you've customised the report as you like, you can save as Custom to easily access that view anytime.

We manage a large number of part-time employees, and during public holidays or leave periods, unit totals (e.g. hours worked) often don't automatically align as expected. This leads to manual calculations and adjustments outside of Xero, increasing the risk of human error and inconsistency in payroll.
Suggested Solution:
Introduce a "Total Units" field in the pay run summary or employee pay template that automatically sums all unit-based pay items (e.g. ordinary hours, public holiday hours, leave). This would provide:Immediate visibility into total hours/units being paid
A simple check against expected working hours
Reduced manual calculation and payroll errors
Improved auditability and time savings
This small addition would streamline payroll for us with variable-hour workers and significantly improve accuracy.

Thanks everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your feedback on changes when adding or editing a contact.
Since the initial release, our team have made an update and you'll find you can now enter IBAN and SWIFT into account number without it throwing errors.
Currently, if you save information into the account number field it'll spread across the bank account prefix and bank account number fields - The thing to note is that this will not impact processing of batch payments and will be one field when exported for batch payments.
We understand it’s not the perfect solution and are looking at further enhancing this - I'll keep you updated here.

Being able to create a bank batch file for international payments is integral for our business especially for our international wages and overseas creditors.

We have two types of clients for our business and the only way we can differentiate these clients is via the invoice description. Since the aged receivables report does not provide the invoice description it is next to impossible to do reporting on the aged accounts at EOM. Being able to have this feature on the report as a standard would allow us to report on these accounts.
