If not possible within quotes is there a way to print a packing slip within a draft invoice? Again, we send products every day of the week to a customer, but only invoice for said products at the end of the week. Would love to be able to send them a packing slip rather than the draft invoice (recipients of goods dont need to/shouldnt always see the financials of the products)

The client sends the goods without the invoice being finalised.
We need the packing slip for proof of delivery but not a finalised invoice that will change at sometime during the month.

We use the quote function for customers that wwe dont invoice until the end of the week, but deliver multiple times to before invoice. A packing slip from invoice requires us to raise the invoice, a packing slip from a quote removes this need

When invoicing, there is a drop down arrow/menu next to the "Print PDF" button, where you can select 'Invoice' or 'Packing Slip'.

We need this feature to be available in the quote for printing a picking slip / delivery docket.

Is it possible to add this functionality?

We invoice on dispatch of goods, so packing slip has to be created on production of quote.

I would appreciate we can use our own template as we need particular features on this document related to our type of business.

Also, very important to be able to edit the packing date as the day of packing or dispatch is not always the date of invoice. I could not find example a field like TodayDate I could use to generate my Packing Slip I developed/created with the date of the day.

I know for my client they won't invoice until the job is complete so being able to do a job sheet / picking sheet from the quote would really help. It could be several days / weeks before the job is ready to go. My client is currently having to manually transfer info from the quote to their job sheets for the team to use to complete the job. Then they use the quote to create an invoice. They don't want to raise an invoice for a job that is not completed and have that sitting on the ledger

This would also be really helpful for us. to use a quote to generate a 'work order' for the team to work to but without pricing on. Just what my client would like to be able to do. It would help get the whole process from quote to invoice in one place.

Can we get the option to print Work Orders from Quotes with customized branding theme template?

How it works in our shop, we quote customers with our products then once they have accepted and approved the quote we print a Work Order for the guys in the shop to see what parts they have to build for this customer. And for us to see what Orders we have to work on. Work Order has no payment info so it's basically like a Packing Slip but in the Quote level instead of Invoice level. Currently we have to switch branding theme from Quote to Work Order to use our customized Work Order Template which is very time consuming.

Please let us know if that can be done! You have all the infrastructure in place already with the Packing Slip option in Invoicing and the customized templates under the branding theme so it appears to be just a matter of doing the same thing for Quotes. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!!
