Contacts: SMS reminders for invoices

I can see multiple suggestions and several thread over a number of years regarding the need for an SMS feature for both customer communication and invoicing. When are you going to add this? The tech is readily available to you. Many other platforms offer this now. Please prioritize this enhancement! Thanks.

Hi team, we've now extended sending invoices via SMS to customers in the US. This is a free feature for all paid plans in AU and US, and can be used in addition to, or as an alternative to sending an invoice via email.

See detail on how sending invoices via SMS works on Xero Central.

Again, at this time there is no way to automate SMS messaging via Invoice reminders. We'll update you if there is any word of this here.

    Why did I receive this update when it's the SMS reminder text that we are all after?

    Was a great feature during Beta. but now we are required to be connected to Stripe to use it??? What of your customers that do not fit Stripes terms of service? It worked fine through beta testing without Stripe. Why not keep it that way?

    Hi Thanks for adding the SMS feature, but th SMS wording on text is not professional, it looks scammy, can we reformat the text for SMS to make it look professional?

    Please bring in this feature asap. It is very time consuming having to "get link" and copy it over to a text message. It would also be great if the feature showed if the customer viewed the invoice, same as how it does for email.

    When my company was using Tax Assist we used the SMS feature many times as it was very handy to communicate with the client for appointment reminders and missed appointments along with general information.

    Appx 70% of my customers pay after receiving a text. Having to email these end users to get payment is way slower than my old system.

    Send SMS would be very helpful, and this will ensure to get paid on time without any compilations.

    Would like to participate. Invoices are going to spam. Customers are not seeing them. Would be interesting to see if SMS would improve faster payment.
