I think Pratik has explained pretty much what i would like to see added to Xero regarding notifications.

I could simply make do with a simple reminder when i approve an invoice that it needs to be sent out of a specific date or time, like a small pop-up, as simple as when you get the option to mark an invoice as "Sent".

I'd really like to mark Projects as being invoiced monthly, fortnightly, or weekly, or being paid on RCTI which then needs to be reconciled.

It would be great to have a feature where a person gets a reminder that an invoice for a project should be sent out soon. Here is the scenario:

There are multiple projects in our organisation and they are led by different people. Each project lead is responsible for sending out invoices for their projects as agreed with the client, which could be monthly or bi-monthly or at the start, middle and end of the project.

So, when a project is set up in Xero, it would be great if there is a function to indicate that the invoices for that project need to be sent out on A, B and C dates and then the person leading that project gets a reminder a few days in advance that the date for sending out the invoice A or B or C is upcoming.

That way, we can ensure that invoices are sent out on time, rather than people forgetting to send it out and later realising that the client has not been invoiced for a few months.

Any thoughts / supporters?

A reminder that the due date of the project is approaching. And a reminder to send an invoice. Invoice reminders should keep alerting until the full project amount has been invoiced.
