Navigation - Adjust the clickbox surrounding the checkbox to modify the checkbox, not act as a link to edit the bill
Often I will be selecting the checkbox on a number of bills, and I will misclick and click on the surrounding whitespace of the checkbox. This currently is acting as a link and opening the bill for edit; which means if I just spent my time selecting a number of bills (Usually checking them off one by one while I review some details on another screen) that now my previous selections have now been lost.
Change the surrounding whitespace clickbox to select/unselect the checkbox rather than linking to the edit bill. At the very least, just make it not link…

Checks - URL for a specific check
Allow linking directly to the details of a specific check (used to pay a bill). Something like: https://xero.com/check_id_goes_here
When we export checks from our ERP to Xero, we store the Xero check ID in the ERP. It would be very handy to be able to link from the ERP directly to the corresponding entry in Xero.

Attach Notes to the month column.
Attach Notes to the month column.
I produce monthly P&L custom reports and add explanatory notes for large variations etc., when I add a new month column, the notes are stuck to the column number rather than the month, eg. I add January, but the variation notes I entered for December are now on the January column and I have to unattach them then reattach them to the correct column.1 vote -
Customer statements - Print in Landscape
Can we have an option to print to pdf statements in landscape as well as portrait?
for example the screen in xero when I look at the statement shows the invoice reference in full but when you download this to PDF the reference gets shortened. This is an issue when the reference is a PO number and then you don't see all the PO number on the PDF version, for some customers they will not accept the PDF statement because of this4 votes -
Purchase Orders - Update the Send Email options
Purchase Orders Send Email Features.
This is to request the Product team to please also update the Send Email settings for the Purchase Order to make work efficient and clear to multiple recipients if they are only on CC.
Attached the screenshot of the latest update Xero had made for Invoice Send Email in which the CC and BCC is in the sending option. It is very helpful for the multiple receiver where in the business communication, we need to CC multiple emails than putting every email in the sending to space.2 votes -

We would like draft bills to be sortable by order inputted.

Invoice Dates - An issue date and a sending date
Will it possible to have a sending date that is before the posting date of the invoice? The invoice needs to be sent on the 25th of the month, but the posting date needs to be the 1st of the next month. For example: The invoice needs to be sent out on 25 March but the posting date will be 1 April.

Navigation - One-click Copy for commonly copied text fields
I would love to be able to one-click copy text fields that are commonly manually copied, such as:
- Invoice/Bill total
- Invoice/Bill number
- Customer ABN
- Customer email
- Customer address
- Supplier BSB/account number
- Payment/batch total
This click would copy the unformatted number/text to allow pasting into another app, such as Internet Banking, Excel, Calculator, email etc.
When paying a bill via Internet Banking, I need to manually copy the total via Ctrl-C, then paste into Internet Banking and manually remove the comma.
When pasting into Windows Calculator (which also won't accept commas) I need to paste into Notepad first to edit the…2 votes -
Invoice - Set defaults for adding Billable Expenses
When creating a new Invoice and you want to add some billable expenses that you have assigned to the contact in the Bills section, I want to be able to give my clients an itemized bill, the new invoicing option is defaulted to add all items as one line.
We default to all invoices as itemized, Yes I can select this as an option but would like the ability to select the other as the default option.
Maybe Xero could create a custom option cookie that would allow customers to select some default settings that make there Xero work better…2 votes -
Projects - Add a Customer Sales Order to the Project
Xero Projects - have the ability to add a Customer Sales Order to the Project, and this defaults on the Invoice Reference field when we invoice the project at the end of each month.

New Invoicing - Make it work with Projects
The new invoicing doesn't work properly with Projects! A disaster for me this morning - trebled the time it takes to do my weekly Projects invoices. When it falls over because it can't find the GL Code to use, and doesn't even have subtotal and total fields....did someone forget about that when they were adding all the new empty space on the screen and screwing the work flow up?

I see you've also come into our Xero Support team and they've suggested booking a time to connect and share screen so they can see the behaviour occurring for you. New invoicing - Use persons name from Contact record (rather than contact name)
We would like to see customers contact person's name appearing on the invoice we send. One customer can have different people/contacts for different projects/invoices. Currently we can only pull out the PRIMARY contact's name to the invoice, which means if we would like to add a different name, we have to REMERMBER to edit customer's primary contact to a different person. It is very time consuming and easy to forget too.
Is there any ways we could simply add a contact person against each invoice instead of against each customer? It could be any extra fields we can use, even…7 votes -
New invoicing - Calendar to remain stagnant when moving through months
When you open the calendar to input a date (e.g., expense claims), the calendar box changes shape/moves around when you click the arrow to go back over previous months because the number of days in each month varies. The calendar shouldn't move around because you must keep repositioning the cursor to find the arrow again.
As someone mentioned in another comment, allow the ability to use the mouse scroll to go back and forth.

Batch Payments - Use to make part payments for bills
Bill Payments - be able to create a make payment for a set amount which is a part payment of a supplier statement and send remittance for a part payment for multiple bills on a statement
Client/business receives multiple bills from supplier, and pays 30 days after end of the month, they may want to pay installments of say $5,000 off the statement which will be applied against multiple bills including a part payment. At the moment there is no way to create this payment and send a remittance to the supplier, we have to wait until the payment appears…

Inventory - Shipping in Inventory cost price
When I order Goods for inventory the cost of shipping is charged by the seller to me and itemised on the bill. From my perspective, this forms part of the cost of the products purchased on the same bill.

New Invoicing - Autosave in edit mode
New Invoicing Autosave function - Does not work in Edit Mode
When you create a new invoice the autosave function is there.
However, if you approve an invoice and then try to edit it, then the autosave is not there and you must manually click update.
Can you please make this feature more consistent. Either everything is autosave or not autosave. Having some aspects will create confusion and lost data4 votes
