    Our business relies heavily on accurate, real-time inventory tracking across multiple locations, and we currently face limitations due to the unavailability of Inventory Plus in our region.

  2. Verifactu is a mandatory invoice verification system in Spain, introduced by the Anti-Fraud Law, which seeks to increase transparency and tax control by automatically sending invoicing records to the Tax Agency (AEAT) in real time to prevent fraud. Supported invoicing programs must ensure the integrity, traceability and preservation of invoices, and include a QR code and the mention "Veri*Factu" in the document. Implementation is progressing, with the use of adapted software mandatory for taxpayers from July 2026.

  3. The Dashboard has been used as an advertising medium lately as well as a messaging medium informing users about Xero's latest acquisition or some new feature they want users to know about.

    The dashboard is a useful feature but distractions on the dashboard kill my productivity. Also, Xero have existing ways to communicate with users (email, xero messages/notifications, community forum, Xero blog etc etc) - they should leave the Dashboard for business use.

    They should also leave support messages for business support use only - have a look next time you contact support - they avoid answering the question but…

  4. Quotes that have been Deleted are marked as Deleted but continue to be displayed in the Sales Overviews. There is no need to continue to display deleted items in the Overviews. They should be removed.

    Hi team, in the aim of transparency we have split this idea out from the original one here so we can get a better understanding of the interest for this change in each area of Xero.

    Being quite different features within Xero it's not likely that a change in one would be reflected in the other area at the same time. We will continue to track interest in removing quotes from the all list here and share if there are any updates.

  5. Display the Credit Note/s applied to an invoice and payments made by date on a PDF document. Why is it that we can view these in the system but we cannot see this when printing invoices.
    It would be so helpful to have this for clients to view exactly what they have paid and exactly what credit notes have been applied to an invoice.

    If it is already on the systems for us to see, is it that hard to reflect this on the printed /emailed versions of invoices?

  6. When viewing the 90-day short-term cash flow projection, payments from our on-site shop show 90 days of predicted income. However, for customers with existing invoices in the system, only those invoices are displayed.

    The issue arises when customers have only 30 or 60 days of invoices, causing a drop-off in the cash projection after 60 days.

    Proposed Solution:

    1. Combine existing invoices in Xero with predictions for future invoices.
    2. Automatically remove these predictions when an actual invoice is entered into the system.

    Hi Faadhilah, thanks for raising the idea about introducing e-invoicing specifically for the UAE. With the government’s timelines and deadlines coming up, we understand how important it is for businesses there to have a streamlined way to comply.

    Xero already supports e-invoicing in other regions where this has become a regulatory requirement. While we can’t share any definite plans about when or if this will be available in the UAE just yet, your idea status is currently Gaining support.     We appreciate the feedback and interest in being able to set different levels of approval across different transaction types in Xero atm. Currently the draft permission will enable a user to create draft transactions in an org with out the ability to approve, while the Sales Invoice Only role will enable a user to create and approve invoices or quotes without access to purchases, and similarly the Invoice Only Purchases role will allow a user to create and approve Purchase transactions without access to Sales.

    To better understand the ask in this idea can you share exactly the type of set up you would be looking to achieve to help with entering information in your organisation.

  11. Could we add a feature to enable us to email out service and inspection reminders up to 28 days before it is due.
    This could be done by date only.
    It would save us having to add another app and potentially another running system to get this feature.

  12. It would be great to look down the list of files in the Xero Files inbox and see a thumbnail image of what the PDF is, so that non-relevant ones or replicas can be deleted in bulk.

    When files are forwarded, often the attachment is loaded to the inbox along with multiple other files which turn out to be logos from the email signature, and it is time-consuming to have to open every file to find out whether it is relevant or not, and delete individually.

  13. Add reference field for project.
    We do a lot of project work. Our clients will generally have a tender or contract number associated with the project. I need to include this number on all invoices related to the project.

    It would be great to have an optional reference field for each project that, if not blank, would automatically populate the reference field for every invoice created.

  14. The functionality to be able to raise and approve a Purchase Order which, at the point of approval, would create a double entry in the general ledger. Specifically:

    • Debit a Work in Progress (WIP) expenses account (to reflect anticipated expenditure),

    • Credit a creditors account (to reflect the anticipated liability).

    This would allow the PO to reflect a commitment in the accounts, enabling better management of Work In Progress and projected costs before the supplier invoice arrives.

    In an ideal world, to be able to allocate the PO to a Xero Project, so that WIP and anticipated costs appear…

  15. As an accountant I prefer the Reporting and Accounting tabs together, under one tab as it has always been. It would slow me down, if I had to search for accounting tools/reports under different tabs.

  17. Under the old invoicing, when an invoice was emailed to a client for the first time, the email address used for that first invoice automatically populated the Contact card's email address at the time the invoice was sent.
    This meant that if the invoice was unpaid, the reminder would be able to go to the same person who received the invoice.
    However the new invoicing doesn't automatically populate the Contact's email address.
    This means an extra step is needed to ensure the Contact card is updated.
    If this step isn't taken, then the automated reminders don't go out.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts and adding your vote to this idea! We totally get how important it is to keep your customer contact info accurate and up to date. An automatic update feature through invoicing sounds like a great way to save you some valuable time.

    Right now, if you send an invoice to an email that’s not already linked to a contact, you’ll need to add that email manually in Xero. The current setup is designed to be flexible so you can send invoices to multiple emails without changing the contact record. But we can definitely see how this feature would speed things up for you.

  18. Please add option in Xero Payment Services to pass Zip transaction fees to customer on top of my invoice amount. At least most of the invoice amount will be paid to me.

    Like Stripe card payment service, pop-up could prompt payee to accept the fee on top of invoice amount. The 5-8% zip fee is too high to absorb for my sole trader businesses.

    In Xero > Settings > Payment Services - the Zip payment service could have some settings just like Stripe card payments has to choose that option of including fees in the amount or adding the zip…

  19. In the general search field at the top right, it would be very helpful if the search also work with a space or a few spaces at the beginning. Because if I copy an invoice number in the field I always have to delete the spaces first before the search works - it's annoying.

  20. Navigation. Wouldn't it make life easier when paying bills if you could create a batch and then go directly back to the Purchases Overview to create the next one. At the moment it's Create a Batch Payment then > Purchases > Bills. Repeat the process.
