To be able to send out service and inspection reminders by date
Could we add a feature to enable us to email out service and inspection reminders up to 28 days before it is due.
This could be done by date only.
It would save us having to add another app and potentially another running system to get this feature.
Aaah gotcha, thanks for the confirmation and additional feedback on the idea here. A bit of an extension from our existing functionality for Contacts and there may be some CRM solutions that you could explore in the Xero app store atm.
For now we'll track the interest in this from community here.

Adding a feature to email service and inspection reminders up to 28 days in advance by date would streamline operations, much like how baseball teams rely on timely schedules and alerts to keep their games and training on track, eliminating the need for an additional app or system. halwa oman
commented
Omani Halwa is crafted through a meticulous and time-honored process that reflects the country’s deep-rooted culinary heritage. Traditionally, it is prepared in large copper pots called “mirjens” over a wood fire, ensuring even heat and authentic flavor. The base ingredients include sugar or honey, ghee, rosewater, saffron, and cardamom, often enhanced with nuts like almonds, cashews, or pistachios. The mixture is slowly stirred for hours to achieve its signature glossy texture and rich consistency. Experienced halwa makers carefully balance the ingredients to create the perfect blend of ********* and aroma. Once cooked, the halwa is poured into decorative containers, ready to be served at special occasions, weddings, and gatherings—preserving the spirit of Omani hospitality in every bite.

Totally agree would be awesome to have a calendar reminder for our clients as we service their small engines annually and an add on for sms or email reminder that could be reported / reviewed and run to send would be excellent... a very manual process outside of xero at present.

Hi Kelly
this would be a completely different thing to Invoice reminders.
We do vehicle inspections and they need to be inspected again in either 3 , 6 or 12 months from the last inspection date.
It would be good if we had the ability to email or SMS an inspection reminder up to a month before its due for inspection.
