Customer Support - Create an idea from a case on Xero central
I can no longer comment on the original idea
what I would like is a button on a support case which allows me to create a product idea linked to the support case, so i don't need to copy and paste the entire case history into the product idea

In terms of the original idea, you can reply directly to the email update you received about the status if there is extra detail you'd like to share with the team - In this case I've merged your original idea with this one to keep the information all together.
We don't have immediate plans for this, but will keep considering how we improve their efficiency when engaging and sharing feedback. We'll track the support here and share if there are any updates. Thanks

Projects - Allow as an Add-On for all pricing plans
As a 1-man business I only need limited features, but the Project feature is one of these that feels essential to my line of work. It is only available in the highest pricing plan and is not available as an add-on. This appears to price out small businesses who want this feature. Please consider allowing this as an add-on, even if it isn't to be available in different pricing tiers.

AU Payroll - Add additional Payroll employee for a charge
Please allow adding on an extra employee for payroll in Australia, as is possible in the UK.
The Ignite plan is enough for most small businesses and sole traders, but the jump in price just to add an extra employee means paying more than double, which is cost prohibitive.
Most businesses don't need the add on and accounting tools when you move up to Grow or Comprehensive - allowing for an extra payroll add on for a small charge, would be beneficial for family and small businesses.5 votesThanks for sharing your idea and highlighting how important flexible payroll options are for your business.

Organisation Settings - Show Xero subscription plan in Settings
At the moment when you go to Organisation Settings > Subscription and billing (e.g. https://go.xero.com/Settings/ManageSubscription), it says "Change plan and update credit card details Managed by XXXX"
If we are XXXX - we don't see either of those things, only a button to take us somewhere else to Manage the plan.
If we are not XXXX - we don't see either of those things.How dumb?
Just show the Xero subscription/plan so we know what it is.

Being able to quickly see your Xero subscription plan from within your organisation’s settings would definitely make things easier. Having to jump to a different section just to check your plan or see what features are included isn’t ideal, especially when you’re trying to make quick decisions.
At the moment, this info isn’t shown in the Organisation Settings, but you can view your plan by going to My Xero from the main menu and clicking on the Subscriptions tab. That’s where you’ll find your current plan and any add-ons.
This idea is now in the Gaining Support stage. If this change would make things simpler for you, feel free to vote or leave a comment — your feedback helps us understand what matters most and where we can improve.

Xero Central - Add changelogs to Xero Central Support pages
Things like tax returns change fairly frequently. Not all new features are entirely self-explanatory. Xero Support's Articles are simple and aimed at giving new users basic information, but often lack the detail to be used as an ongoing resource.
I'd suggest adding changelogs to Xero Central Support pages/articles for existing products that have been updated.
For example the IR6 tax return has changed in the 2025 year to match tax law. Estates are still able to use the 33% tax rate in their first 4 years, but the return defaults to the 39% rate.

Billing & Subscriptions - Suggestion for an on-demand 'Pay Now' button
Please add a Pay Now button onto your subscription billing page so that we can pay for our subscriptions on demand.

Xero App Store - Add a link to each app's website
When we go to the apps directory, and click on an app we are interested, they are usually associated with an external company. For instance, Crypto websites that consolidate our crypto transactions, then can be imported into Xero.
But when I go to the information pages about the apps, there is no link I can find to the actual website of the company. There are usually links to support, or social media.
Please go one step further and just put in the official website.
The reason for this is because sometimes we are researching what services actually connect with Xero…

As you mentioned, the app listings currently have links to their social media pages, but not directly to their website.
For now, you might use these social media pages to get links to their websites. In the meantime, our team will check into this and your suggestion can now begin to build support with votes from other community members.

Navigation - Ability to submit feedback in product
There isn't anywhere in Xero where we can add brief feedback. This would be helpful to have in the help menu please.
For example there is a new issue after the new updates on invoicing - this feature would allow a quick notification to Xero that something needs fixed or we are super impressed with new changes! It takes too long to add something to product ideas (like now), to be ignored or gather a lot of voters before something is fixed. Same with raising a case, most of the time it wont be a fix, we get directed back…2 votesThanks for your input to product ideas, Nadine.
Though there is no direct way to leave feedback in the product atm, there are now many ways our team's are surfacing in product messaging to updates users of a change and request feedback especially through staggered releases.
We'll continue to consider how and when is best to engage with customers through Xero and will keep a watchful eye on support for your idea here.
