    Our product team have been working away to refresh purchase orders which'll be released over the coming months.

    Work for negative inventory is also in progress, and our team are looking at how this flow works through to sales invoices for backorders. 😊

  2. See who was selected as an approver by employees. If we have been selected as an approver by the employee, it is currently impossible to know if they also selected their appropriate approver to know if we should reject the timesheet or leave or if we can wait for the appropriate approver to approve the timesheet or leave.

    Hi Johann, so I can get your request in front of the right team, I just need to check which reports you're specifically referring to. Would one of them be the VAT 201?

  5. The date format for South Africa is incorrect. We use a day month year format, not the American month day year format. Surely Xero can change this so its adaptable for each country and preference? Its not asking a lot of work to have that additional option. But can cause a huge issue when its not what we work with.

  6. UK Payroll- Access to a communal time off calendar for all employees.
    As a smaller business we try to have one employee off at a time where possible- it would be hugely useful if they could access a shared leave calendar in the same place as they request leave & submit timesheets from. This would pull data from my admin overview calendar and stop me having to create external calendar in iOS and another in android which leads to missing data etc and wasted holiday requests. They could see if the leave they want is available prior to the request.

    Hi Sharon, recently we released a new feature in Contacts that will enable you to add a note for a contact that can be visible from a contacts record - Right hand panel meaning you could add any detail about contacts that you receive payment from at the time goods & services are supplied in this field. 

    Is this enough to solve your needs here? 🙂

  8. can you please add columns for customer account number and VAT number to invoice export data sheet? this should be a simple add as so much of the customer data already is there. it makes business analysis much better. it is far too cumbersome to track customer profitability otherwise.

  9. A client has asked for the functionality to show the Kiwisaver deduction rate for employees on their payslip?

  11. In Repeating Transactions, you have a column width for Reference which is fairly decent, but then the data in that is truncated to the extreme. It takes up less than half the column width??????
    Has it not occurred to your programmers to use the full width of the column and only suffix with ... if it still proves too small to display all the data

    Hi team, to export a list of all Tracking categories in your org, you may find the Tracking Summary report of use to you here. Alternatively, you could run the Account Transactions report and Summarise by the Tracking category. 

    The one caveat here for both reports is that they'll only show a list of the tracking options that have been used within the date range the report is run. 

  13. To have an option for a bill to be paid automatically on the Due date
    Invoice comes from Supplier. Invoices is processed to Xero with a due date
    On the due date invoice is paid automatically (through interaction with bank)

  14. A 'Deleted' folder in Files that captures deleted files.

    Once I have uploaded a receipt to the files folder, I always dispose of the original.

    If you accidentally attach it too, and then delete it from the transaction, it is gone forever. You have no ability to reload it from the files folder.

    The original uploaded file is gone, so you have to source another copy of the receipt from the supplier.

    Surely this deleted uploaded file has gone somewhere?

    Can we have it directed to a folder?

  15. It would be nice to have the option to attach files when using cash coding on the bank. To attach a file, I have to go back to the bank recon tab, find the entry and then attach the file. This wastes a lot of time. A small attach file icon or the option to attach a file on the drop-down will save a lot of time.

  17. A year-end payroll report which lists the employees, and provides total amounts for Gross earnings, PAYE, and all other deductions for the financial year, with company totals at the bottom. Basically it could just be a one-page summary for the year, depending how many employees there are. Most other payroll systems have the report option, and it's very important for end of year wages reconciliations.

  19. When developing a quote via Projects, we can add in an estimated cost and then enter a margin to give an estimated expense. However we cannot then retrospectively see what the original supplier cost is and therefore profit expected. Neither does it offer a field to enter who the supplier is. The Project financial reports have a header to show 'estimated cost' but it does not populate this field. The only time a cost is shown is if it is entered as an actual expense.

  20. Please provide better organization tools to published reports archive such as being able to sort published reports by report end date (cut-off date)!

    Sometimes we have to go back and reperform a client's bank reconciliation because they don't always know what they are doing, or new transactions cleared in the subsequent period affect previously published report. It doesn't take long to see the published reports archive get disorganized and hard to find a published report.
