  1. When in Projects - Tasks & Expenses - it would be really handy if the supplier name was included.

    When adding bills, I have to remember to add the supplier name in the bill description before adding the bill info.

  2. Limited Projects Users should be able to print a timesheet. Those who are subcontractors require their own records, and this saves duplication. Clients often require timesheets to be signed, and the person who entered the time is usually the best person to arrange this, however they cannot do so unless they can print their own timesheet.

  4. In New Invoicing we can now hide the tax amount column. As this is for organisations that are not registered for tax, the Tax Rate column is also redundant so would it be possible to hide that too? We are set up as No VAT Scheme so both these columns just get in the way and it seems odd that we can mask one but not the other when you only ever need both or neither.

    While we're at it, could we do the same in Billing?

  5. Xero Payroll - NHS Pensions.
    We'd love to be able to use Xero to do Payroll, as we already use it to do our accounts. We are a group of 6 GP practices and a Primary Care Network, currently with 100 employees and we need a product that can run the NHS Pension Scheme - we wouldn't hesitate to use Xero if would work for us

  6. Be able to remove the csv file option when viewing invoices online. I have a template set up which gives a detailed description but only a total price as I do not want customers to see the individual prices. However if they view online and download the CSV they can see this detail. It only seems to happen when emailed to Gmail accounts as we don't include the invoice link in the email. I now have to put in 0's for each line item and manually enter the total amount.

  8. Users who are 'invoice only - sales' need to be able to view prepayments when they look at the individual customer's activity tab. Currently prepayments do not appear at all.

    They only appear when they open an invoice in the old invoicing (this feature has disappeared with new invoicing but is apparently being fixed)

  9. For most of my clients, I have to apply hundreds of individual payments to pay off monthly sales invoice. This is very time consuming process. I would prefer to have an option similar to existing Cash Coding feature but applicable to Invoice instead of chart of account. This way I would be able to select multiple bank transactions, apply tax rate and reconcile to single Sales Invoice at once.

  10. Global Search - is broken.

    If I am searching for a customer, say EE Limited, even if I type in the full name, it won't show me the contact, but it will show me transactions.
    How about always show contacts at the top?

  11. When going to Payroll -> Pay Employees -> (inside your payrun) -> (Inside an employee's pay)
    There is an option to drop down the list of employees included in the pay-run to change between. Could this be made much bigger please.

    Same goes for teh Drop-Down in the Employee Setting Pay-Template tab

  12. Payment information on invoices updates automatically from information held in the payment services section of Xero. Except, using the .DOCX templates, they don't update automatically your business's bank account details.

    Scenario - you accept invoice payments direct to your business bank account. Those details are included in the invoice template. You change your bank account details. You have to update each and every invoice template you have to show the new bank account details. However, if you change your Stripe payment information for example, that information is automatically updated in your templates. Why the different treatment?

  13. We need to be able to account for annual leave transactions in the general ledger but Xero does not currently facilitate this. Is there any chance that an update will be done which will allow this? I know that this has already been raised but it is baffling as to why a basic payroll/GL integration is lacking.

  14. New Invoicing has switched the position of Add from file library and Upload files. Whilst this may seem a small change, users are familiar with the order from left to right and I personally keep clicking the wrong one. Changing this order has no streamlining purpose so can it please be changed back?

  15. There needs to be a feature to turn off automatic notifications when an employee changes their bank account,
    Every time this changes in our system our Accountant gets an email.
    Apparently there is currently no way to turn this feature off.
    A bit irritating for him to say the least...

  16. It would be useful to create truly custom reports than allow for balance sheet and income statement reporting. For example a year-to-date income statement can be structured differently to fit custom reporting needs, but it's not possible to include balance sheet balances or net activity on the same page.

  17. Hubdoc User roles - it would be incredibly helpful if upload only users were able to view (not edit or add) tags from a common list. We have 17 staff who have company visa's I'm wanting to use Hubdoc for them to be able to upload their visa receipts & invoices instead of having them manually sent to me the following month for coding and entering.

    I've set up the tags with the descriptions of the GL codes, however I've found that they are unable to view or use these tags without setting them up themselves. Having a communal list…

  18. The option to view the product descriptions when in the Product and Services list should already be a feature.

    Many of our products have an abbreviated item name, with the description containing the expanded product information. Opening individual products to view the description takes a significant amount of time as we have over 1,500 items.

    It is also the product description, not the product item name, that appears on invoices to customers, so it only makes sense to be able to view the descriptions from the P&S list.

  19. Please remove invoice links from Statements, this is causing us huge problems or at least give an option to remove.
    We are requesting like many others that Xero remove invoice links from statements, as they are causing significant issues.
    Our company uses a Project Management system to issue invoices which is integrated with Xero, and we need control over the information provided to customers.
    The automatic linking of Xero invoices in your Statements does not align with the original invoice sent. We urge Xero to provide an option to ‘opt in’ or ‘opt out’ of this feature, and that this…

  20. As Dext could work with tracking categories from Xero, could you please allow this option for Projects as well? So all stuff on Dext to be allocated against projects in advance before been published on Xero.
