  1. As you’ve found, right now it’s not possible to only show the organisations logo or to remove the organisation name from the email. This would help in customizing what is shown to recipients/clients.

  2. We are a plant hire business and have recently started using Xero Projects to measure profitability by project/vehicle. We raise a significant number of sales invoices every day. This can only be done manually so as to match Purchase Order to Delivery Note and other relevant backing documentation.

    The project allocation selection is the final entry item, which doesn't run with the order the backing information is reviewed. It would be a great timesaver if the input boxes on the sales invoice creation screen could be moved around.

    The above update would enhance our efficiency.

  3. Before we had start/stop times, employees were able to add different pay rates (ie Saturday Penalty Rate). It would be excellent if this option could be included with the start/stop time version in Xero Me.

  5. I have one employee that is paid the same amount every week, it would be great if I could set the pay run to post and file itself every week until further notice. I have an automatic bank payment set up so this would make it so easy - and more importantly it doesn't rely on me remembering.

  6. When posting a pay run, Xero should automatically create spend money transactions with all relevant details and links to the pay run.

    Currently, this is done manually by creating spend money transactions for each transaction and there is no link to the payslip.

    This will save a lot of time in reconciling a pay run and improve the connectivity within Xero.

  8. Currently fixed asset reports have to be run separately and there is no ability to add these into an existing report like the notes to the financial statements. It is reasonably standard to include a table in the notes that summarises cost, depreciation charged, accumulated depreciation and net book value for both the current year and the year prior.

    Requesting the functionality to pull this data from Xero into a report, rather than either having to run two separate fixed assets reports (one for each year) or a manual table where figures are typed in and manually added.

  9. When a report runs over a single page, the header formatting does not pull through to pages 2 forward. It pulls through the report name in small writing at the top of the page and leaves a large spacing at the top of page, as the attached screenshot shows.

    This product idea is to fix this bug so that either the report name header formatting pulls through to all pages within the report (preferable), or at least the empty space is removed.

  10. In the activity tab in contacts, it'd be great to be able to have a "files" column just like in the bills section, so that we can preview the invoices to the side rather than having to click into the bill to see the invoice.

  12. When printing a check, it includes the Country Code. Have an option to disable the country code as it is not required to put country code on a letter in the US and the code gets printed on top of the memo field info.

  14. When using an "Add On", the customers settings in Xero do not work when invoice sent to drafts. For example when you click the discount column to pre-fill it won't. The fix is to delete the customers name and re-enter it.

    We need to enhance the functionality of our invoicing system within Xero Projects by incorporating start and end times for each task or project. Currently, our invoices lack this crucial detail, which is essential for accurate billing and client transparency.   16. It would be a great addition to be able to allocate employees to a particular employee group and from this run historical employee summary reports by employee.

    At present when setting up tracking categories the tracking in employee reports will only track payruns once the employee groups are setup. Any historical payruns are not included. This makes it difficult to compare periods or look at employee group reports for the year to date.

    There should be an ability to apply the employee grouping tracking to all or some of the historical payruns.

  17. Enhancing short term cash forecast within Xero Analytics. This is the germ of a great feature but would be greatly enhanced by the following (in order of importance) : 1) ability to print out in report form, 2) ability to save changes to predictions i.e. you when you change to expected payment date for an overdue invoice or bill it does not seem to save it, so you lose the changes you have made, 3) if it could have the option interact with budget numbers to produce projected receipts/payments.

  18. New Account transaction report - remove the totals when generating the report for a single account.
    The new report adds a report total at the end of the selected accounts which is a total of the debit or credit transactions for 'all' accounts selected.
    When only one account is selected it still shows a total - this is in addition to the total for the transactions on the account itself so it shows total of transactions, closing balance and then total of transactions of all accounts selected.   19. When a revalued asset is created (e.g. roads in a local government authority), it is essential that a revalued accumulated depreciation is also able to be added at the same time. This is a basic accounting requirement for councils when they revalue their various infrastructure assets.

  20. In the Bills approved and awaiting to be paid - it would be good to have a field for notes. There may be a reason why the bill is being held or delayed and a note section here for additional information would make it easier for all involved to understand why a bill might be delayed from the current payment run.
