  3. Provide a FULL list of ALL reports!

    There are SOOOO many reports out there that I am not aware of, as they are all hidden! Unless you know the exact name of the report they are useless to search. I have just spent a wasted few days between facebook and support trying to pull a report similar to Supplier Statement. I did a search and of course there is nothing called that.     Totally get the keywords our customers look for or search and the names of Xero's reports may not always match. We've making use of generative AI and have released this to search within the Xero help menu - Where possible Xero will auto generate a response based on your search, and otherwise you'll see the most relevant content from Xero Central.

    Taking the example in the idea here, when searching 'supplier statement' the first relevant result helps a user understand what reports will help them get an understanding of supplier activity in Xero.

    In terms of listing reports in the reports centre - Some of Xero's reports such as the Supplier Bill Activity are a drill down report. While it won't be listed on the reports centre as a default, you can click the 3 dot menu next to the Contact Transactions - Summary report to view sub reports. If…

    Hi Kai, you can run the Payable Invoice Summary report which has the ability to include Planned Date as a column, or you can also choose to group by this field if you'd prefer - Does this achieve what you're in need of here?

  7. In the old P&L reports there was an option to compare jobs(tracking options) for a selected period. There was an option to filter the exact period (eg 1 month or 6 months) and it also displayed the line items relevant to the job for that month (eg individual COGS lines) It was used to compare Job COGS to a Project Management program used by the business.The new P&L has very limited features particularly relating to filtering.   9. I would like the GST AUDIT REPORT to be permanently updated, so that the transaction SOURCE FIELD would be included in the report. Otherwise the report should be customisable to include this and many other fields / options, so any of us professionals and internal accountants can extract what we need to review client / business BAS data easier, and lodge the BAS's quicker.   10. In addition to the bank account name showing on the bank reconciliation report, it would be good to also show the account number. This would make it easier to match the bank statement with the bank account in Xero.
    For example, my client may have it as Business Account 1, Business Account 2 in Xero but the actual account name is ANZ Transaction Account, NAB Cheque account - so easily being able to match the account number when checking period end balances would make it much quicker and easier.

  11. IDEA - CIS suffered report to calculate the CIS suffered correctly.

    ISSUE - If you apply a credit note to an invoice that has both CIS labour and CIS materials, Xero does not calculate the CIS suffered correctly. Even though the credit note is coded to the correct nominal code, Xero doesn't recognise this. This causes the CIS suffered report to reduce the deduction amount which is incorrect. This means the figure you submit to HMRC is lower than it should be. Meaning less of a refund of CIS suffered than it actually should be.

    Hey team, if you'd like to see a report that shows changes made to payroll such as salary changes, you can use the Payroll History report.

    It can be run for a specified date range and will show the date the changes were made, what the changes were, the employee affected and the user who made the changes.

  13. Payable Invoice Detail reports - Ability to Filter VAT Rate Name and VAT Rate (as one can in Receivables)

    In the Receivable Invoice Detail Report, the filters include both the "VAT Rate Name" and "VAT Rate". These are not currently available in the Payable Invoice Detail Report, but would greatly assist anyone trying to reconcile the figures in this report with those shown on the VAT Return. As such it is essential to ensure that the figures submitted in Box 7 of the VAT Return are accurate.

  14. A Simple EOFY Report for Contractor Payments - to include Income Payg and Super + contractors details + email (for mail merge) all in one report

  15. Bills to Pay export report that contains Overpayments does not currently agree to Aged Payables report. The Overpayments are displayed as a positive value instead of a negative value. This means that the Bills to Pay export report is overstated. Please correct this.

    Trying to better understand your idea here, Niamh - When you say Bills to pay export, would this be when exporting a list of Bills from the Bills to pay screen? 

    Overpayments for bills would be treated as credit available to be applied to a bill - Unlike Prepayments which would be treated as a debit that would be applied at a future date to a bill that has yet to be created.

    I send out reports to my departments each month, this morning it took 4 hours to add the tracking codes to the new P & L reports (we love the new report and so do our Department Heads).
    I was wondering if there is a way of saving each custom report for each individual dept with their tracking within a folder. We have a Junior and Senior Campus and about 45 departments at each. We already have a lot of custom reports so having a folder system would allow each Admin staff member…

    There's no facility to create folders in the Reports Centre for this sort of categorisation atm.

  17. You can add formula columns and rows to a report, but from what I can tell, the column formula always takes precedent over the row. It would be cool if you choose if you want the row formula to calculate in the column formula column

  18. It would be great to have an option to run a sales report by item which includes draft invoices, delivery dockets, and purchase orders as well.

    For example, I tried to run a sales report on qty of each product sold for the financial year to date and realised this information was inaccurate as we had sold a significant qty as draft invoices (using draft invoicing in lieu of delivery docket functionality), these products were not included in the sales report.

  19. Currently the Salary Sacrifice is just deducted on the Gross to Net report. Where as on the TB the amount is added. It would be good if this could be segregated.
