Bills - Warning to make clear payment not made form Xero
When paying bills through Xero there should be some warning box to state this will not take money from your bank account. This will be recorded in Xero however you will need to make payments from your bank account.

Bank Reconciliation - Contact match by additional contact details
Bank Reconciliation suggestions. The ability for Xero to identify a name within a customer contact and match it to the name on the bank feed and suggest this as a match. for example John Smith is the contact for ABC pty ltd. when he makes payment he only references John Smith. Xero will recognise John smith is a contact for ABC pty ltd and suggest their invoice in the bank rec.

Reports - Add report with all bank statement lines
A report showing all Bank Statement lines for (Filtered) bank accounts and date ranges.
This report could be used to track transfers that go from Bank Account A to B to C.

Xero Expense - Ability to view full account name
Can we have complete name of Chart of Account in Xero Expense. For eg, from screeenshot attached, we have x3 different Meal Chart of Account but as i can't see the complete name of the chart of account i have to go to different screen to find the right code.
If we can see/have complete name of the chart of the account when submitting/editing Credit Card receipt that will be super helpful

1099s - Receive Money transactions to populate in 1099 report
If you pay a vendor too much and they send you a refund for the overpayment that is recorded as a Receive Money transaction, then the amount to be reported on the 1099 should be the net (amount paid less the refund received), but since Receive Money transactions don't populate on the 1099 report, the amount is incorrect.

Reporting - Add a Quote Title column to the Outstanding Quotes Summary
Quote Titles should show up in the reporting so that clients can see which projects they are looking at. This is much different than a reference which is typically a job or project number that the client needs reference to.

Branding - Option to Archive invoice branding themes
Branding Themes (in Invoice Settings) that are templates for Invoices, Statements, Purchase Orders, Quotes, Remittances, you name it, can only currently be 'deleted' when no longer required (ie, if a staff member resigns). BUT, individual staff themes have generally been attached to a transaction and once that 'theme' is deleted, you lose the history/audit capability. Being able to ARCHIVE instead will maintain the integrity of all the 'theme' template data it was use for.

Inventory - Export selected items, instead of the whole list
I would like to be able to bulk edit a select, small number of products and/or export them to CSV for editing and re-importing.
We have 4000 SKUs, and if I want to edit 20, a simple bulk edit feature would be very useful. The CSV is unmanageable and needs to be split up for re-importing. It makes a huge task when it needn't be.

AU Payroll - Increase the character limit for Earnings rates on timesheets
Timesheet - Earnings Rate viewing space needs increasing
Why is the space so small to view the earing rate selected, most earning rates are much longer than the space provided, which is creating issues to clarify if the rate selected is correct. And creating additional time required to check the correct rate has been entered or pulled through from scheduling software.
Please widen this space, there is plenty of room as there is excess room in the Tracking area or the page actually widened.3 votes -
Project - Show Days elapsed vs remaining
In Xero Projects --> Time it will show "Deadline 31 May 2024 80 days to go"
Instead could it show "56 days elapsed and 80 days to go", or a percentage of the days elapsed to give it a scale the same way the invoiced and timesheeted hours headings do.
You could treat the first day as the first time entry on the project, so no need to add a field to manually set the project start date.

Notes - Ability to bulk add to transactions
It would be incredibly helpful to be able to update multiple notes at once. For example, if I have a list of 300 invoices and a statement has been sent, I want to see that note on each invoice, so that anyone going into that account can see the last action. So for example, I want to add the note 'Statement sent today requesting payment by 19th April' to all 300 invoices, but I want to be able to select them all and add that note once, not 300 separate times.
It would be so helpful and would save a huge amount of time if this could be added as a feature for the credit control side of the company - or indeed for the accounts payable side if they have sent out multiple remittances.
Also, if the last note on an invoice could also be added to a report, that would also be really helpful. e.g if the last note left on an invoice can be added as a selection on the 'columns' drop down on the 'Aged Receivables Detail' report.

AU Payroll - Allowances not reportable as W1 to be included in STP filings
STP2 Allowances. Not reportable at W1 should push that information through with STP, but it doesn't. Using reimbursements as a work around is not good enough - better syncing is needed.

Invoicing - Exempt flag for non-taxable lines
When using the new Avalara auto taxes, the options are now show every line item tax rate, even if it's except. This is not right. Tax Exempt lines should show Exempt, just like they did with the manual tax entry. My clients are confused why every line item shows a rate rate, even if it isn't being taxed. In the business AND accounting world this is not right. Only items that are being taxed should show tax rate.
