  1. Bulk edit milestones
    I am trying to utilise the Important Dates page in the Job Manager and there is older jobs that are clogging up the page with overdue milestones that no longer apply. How to I remove all of these in a bulk process? There is over 3000 milestones that need to be removed. Currently support has told me there is no way of doing this apart from deleting each milestone on each job one by one.

  2. Change Capacity under Settings/Practice to allow for Saturday and Sunday so that on the Dashboard for Time Summary the time entered on Saturday and Sunday shows and is reflected in the Productivity circle on the Dashboard

  3. Some of the field labels in a report don't match the field in the profile, which can cause confusion, incorrect reports and more time spent on building reports than needed.

    For example, on a client profile, we have the 'Partner' and 'Manager', however, when trying to report on these fields, they are called 'Account Manager' and 'Job Manager'.

    It would make reporting easier if all labels/titles matched or at least referred to them, e.g. Account Manager (Partner).

  4. Currently, there’s no functionality in Xero Practice Manager to edit job names in bulk. This would be an extremely useful function for us. For example, we have a large number of Client Services jobs which need updating and without a bulk update function we need to do this manually, job by job which takes far too long.

  5. In XPM, there is a subtotal of all the amounts of each task in the fixed price column. It would be handy to show a subtotal of all amounts for each task in the calculated column. This would allow you to see, at a glance, the write up/down for the invoice.

Only one contact in XPM can be a 'Primary' contact so our correspondence pulls through only the salutation for that contact, however the entity may be a partnership, trust or company and need more than one person included. This means we need to manually add any other salutations, which is not ideal and leaves room for error. The option to add multiple 'Primary' contacts would solve this issue.

  7. the function to search for clients needs to be easier (similar to the search function) when you are trying to run reports in XPM. It is tiring to go through 3,000 clients on a list to select the one I want to view as the function to run reports only allows me to type the first initial.
    It takes us almost 5-6mins to run a simple report

    When you view a group in XPM it shows you the recipients, the phone and address fields, it would be amazing if the mail email address was also displayed.

  11. An option to create a new group in XPM from the client card menu would be very helpful. Makes it a bit bothersome setting up new clients when you need to move to another page to make the new group.

    See picture attached. If XPM cannot detect a group, a line prompting to create a new group here would be ideal.

  12. Need to have the ability to add prospect relationships - currently if both spouses are added as prospects, you can't then link them as spouses in the relationships section. However, if one spouse is already a client then you can link the prospect as a relationship... this seems like an oversight in the platform. Need to be able to link prospects as spouses/family etc.

  13. P&L - Tracking categories (cost centres) in rows and analized per periods (in columns) . When I run this report on xero, it shows me in the same column (period and cost centre), the cost centre should be displayed in rows. Really annoying that this option does not work properly as its impossible to analyse anything.

  14. Edit Jobs Screen Filters: In the XPM jobs screen it is possible to created and save filters. However it is not currently possible to edit those filters, only clear them and start again. Please provide the functionality to edit existing filters. Thanks in advance, Petra.

  17. We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.

    A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.

    have one section for internal notes on the client that can be updated
    - Files can be attached but not updated
    - Notes in a Report Text Box are only specific to that report
    Need a permanent place that I can add notes, instructions, updates to my staff dealing with a client

Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

  20. I have two situations where the billing in the financial part of the system was being charged by staff rate instead of by task rate. I am not sure why this occurred - possibly human error. So I created new jobs and tried to move the paid progress invoices to the new jobs but it isn't possible. Is there any way that we can move invoices in XPM from one job to another?
