  1. When running a report from My Reports it opens first on the Report Designer page allowing you to check/change the parameters, rather than having to revert to the Report Builder and Custom Reports to do so.

  2. Timesheet. Be great if you could see a visual (graph) of your daily timesheet rather than just the time 24 hr posted list. Then you could get a visual of how long and for what hours you spent on each job, eg 8am to 9am job A, 9am to 11am job B, how long you didnt work eg lunch and it would be heaps easier to see if you had made any errors in submission of time. Even though there is the time summary graph which shows hours worked, it doesn't help troubleshoot if you think your time not correct…

  4. KPI DASHBOARD - BUILD REPORT ON CUSTOM PERIOD

  5. Have a separation of Client Edit privileges to allow practice staff to edit Contacts, Groups, and Relationships without having full edit access (e.g. will not be able to edit client address, email address, Agent, etc)

  8. Add restriction on changing bank account details for client (in XPM and tax return).
    Given Optus and related fraud - > not all staff should have the ability to update bank account details on a client.
    There should be the ability to restrict this so procedures - eg phone calls to verify etc - can be put in place.

  9. NZ Tax
    Currently, in XPM it's only possible to customise a cover page of a tax return. However, it's not possible to customise the actual return including the last page.
    We'd like to be able to customise the last page to enable an anchor phrase to be entered to assist preparing templates for DocuSign automated signing platform.

    Thanks for the detail in your response, Stacey and I'd highly recommend sharing the link to the idea here with others in your business that'd find this useful to help us get a better sense of the overall interest. 

    Being open while appreciate the ease this would create for individual users, building customisation at this level would be quite complex. Not something we have plans for at present but we'll get a sense of the interest here. 🙂


  11. Time Sheet Calendar.
    One of the best features of APS is the ability to enter time in a calendar view. You can specify the time units ie 6min, 10 min etc and it presents a week on view for you to add time aka MS Outlook Calendar.

  12. Fixed Assets - Asset Serial Numbers Printing on Depr Schedule
    It would be helpful to have as a print option for the Depreciation Schedule the ability to print asset serial numbers. This is one of the few fields not current able to be selected.

    Application is transport Companies and Engineering Companies which have a high reliance on serial number identification.

  13. Can we have the ability to search for a transaction , by amount , payee or description across all bank accounts. Rather than having to go into each bank account and sort dates etc and than search. Having the option to choose all bank accounts, rather than an individual bank account would be awesome.

    Hi team, I wanted to share that the recent updates for the Reconcile page have now been released to all users. This includes a search bar at the top of the page and includes filters for date range and amount. This provides the ability to look up criteria of your statement lines and narrow down your search. 

    You'll also find you can now view more statement lines per page, with up to 50 at a time - You'll find more on this and other updates shared on our blog. 

    We appreciate the ask on this idea is a search across all statement lines, across all bank accounts. I want to confirm this is not something we have plans for developing at this stage, and I'll move this idea back to 'submitted' so we can continue to track and update you if there is any progress of this, here. 

  14. Xero Log on - Alias email address for use with multi practice access.
    Currently working in two accountancy practices with access to Xero but can only have one access to Admin. This means restricted access to one practices clients and having to be added manually to each client.
    I have a generic email address from my Log in so the clients are not aware I work for multiple firms. This has to be explained to the client as it shows in their user list. Also when emailing clients directly from Xero, an alias email has to be created for that…

  15. We have the AS' downloaded from ATO automatically and this creates a new job for every AS. We then need to add an AS task to every job individually.

    Would be great to be able to add task/s to multiple jobs in one go - similar to how you can assign staff/manager to multiple jobs in one go.

  17. I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

  20. Xero Practice Manager - Tax

    I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.
