  2. The option to have a draft automatically created when a recurring job is generated. Such as for GST and AIM.
    It would be very helpful by saving time and assist us in making sure they are all filed.

  3. Add the Ability to lodge NLA for TPAR using Practice Manager, allowing clients to sign the NLA and submit to the ATO.   4. It would very helpful to show the "Amount due" and WIP balances on both of the CLIENT and GROUP listing screens.
    At the moment these screens shows the telephone number and address which does not help at all. At the very least give us the ability to customize
    these columns so that we can "choose" what to see

  5. It would be great to have the ability setup recurring invoices directly in XPM for annual agreements rather than "pushing" recurring invoices similar to setting up recurring jobs in XPM.

  6. Currently when copying a job then the costs and milestones are automatically copied as well. It would be great to be given the option to copy these or not. Most of the time we do not want to copy these specifically the costs

  7. It would be great to be able to move job costs to another job in a similar way that you can move time sheets. More often than not costs are captured on an incorrect job and it is a "pain" to delete this and then to re-capture on the correct job.

  8. Add a TPAR tax form in Xero Practice Manager (XPM) so that we can generate signing pages like we can with a BAS or PSAR. When lodging via a client's Xero file or the ATO portal, we tick a box to say we have a declaration from the client, authorising us to lodge their TPAR, but there seems to be no report we can print to show them what we're going to lodge, nor signing pages that they can sign, so meeting this declaration requirement is proving difficult.

  9. It would be great to be able to look at 2 different accounts/companies at the same time to compare and check timesheets in WorkflowMax. We have staff working over 2 accounts/companies and would love to be able to check they have done their designated hours between both.

  10. Would love to see features to the group profile. Even if they were custom tabs from the business settings (so it applies to all groups). Some ideas are:

    1. Group information - could be a list of the clients and their partner, manager, class, etc (would be great if each firm could select what client details they want to include from their business settings).

    2. Client Fees - could use this section to add services, fees and notes for each client, and then have this total per service, client and group. This way you can update on the go and see the…

  11. Would be great if we could update fields in one go for multiple entities across a group (similar to how the address field allows you to). For example, the Partner, Manager, Class, etc is generally the same across the group (how we use it), so it would be good if we could update these sections for everyone in the group in one go (even if we need to access one of the entity profiles, and from there it asks if we want to update the other entities as well).

  12. It would be great if we could have the ability to apply multiple relationships to a single entity at once, perhaps as a multiple checkboxes. So for example, when setting up a company, we might have one person who is the Director, Secretary, Public Officer and Shareholder but at the moment we need to add these in one at a time.

  13. Xero to automatically log the time you spend in each client and summarise monthly/ average 12 monthly.

    No stop/start. 10 minute auto logout.

    Advantages: no additional work for the user
    Disadvantages: not an exact science.

  14. Suggestion to have the ability to enter 'Ad Hoc' time in the same place you enter time for jobs - i.e. in the Timesheets screen, rather than going through the 'Global Search' screen.

    You would select a client first, then select Ad Hoc Time or a job (if an active one exists).

    Also, when selecting a client, it would also be handy to be able to start typing a few letters from anywhere within the client name, rather than having to type the first letter or scroll down using the picklist.

  15. Recurring jobs allow for staff allocation. When you need to amend these reallocations they have to be done one by one. We would like to be able to make these bulk as they can be in live Jobs.

    Thanks for your engagement and feedback through the idea here, community. Appreciate the examples provided of the needs in being able to add relationship types to your clients. While this is an idea our team have their eyes on, we want to be upfront that it's not something we have planned atm. We'll keep you informed if there's any progress to share on this, here.

  17. To be able to duplicate a contact, therefore not having to retype in the address, phone number and all other details. You would just need to rename the client and change the IRD number etc before saving. This would be a huge time saver.

    Just to clarify, when you say ‘duplicate a contact’ would this be; the ability to duplicate an entire client (including all its contacts), to duplicate a contact within an existing client, or duplicate a contact from one client to another?

    If the last, we have a similar idea over here that I can join you in with. 🙂

  18. The current sync of "clients" from XPM to "contacts" of the practice Xero Blue file only updates when an invoice is sent across.

    Surely this could be made into an immediate sync, or at the very least an overnight sync?

    Given XPM doesn't integrate with a whole lot of software and doesn't integrate with Zapier, many add-ons practices use are linked with the Xero Blue file and require that data to be accurate. Debtor collection software for example, marketing software, etc, all require contact details to be accurate, and if clients change details, there can be a large delay before…

    Appreciate your feedback on the idea here. As a grounds to start from we thought it would help to confirm;

    • There is a two way sync of your clients between Practice Manager and your practice Xero organisation Contacts
    • The sync between XPM and your practice Xero organisation contacts is different - we’ve explained this more below


    Differences between Xero Practice Manager(XPM) and your practice Xero organisation sync

    • Client will sync with your organisation’s Contacts depending on your Xero connection setup - more on Xero Central
      • This is controlled by users with the Administrator role and can be set to ‘Never’, ‘Only when uploading invoices’ or ‘Every time client or supplier details are updated’
  19. Removal of 'completed' jobs from the job list when preparing an invoice in XPM.

    Sometimes we invoice a parent client with multiple entities jobs appearing and this can be very hard to navigate when looking for current jobs to invoice - even if the status is marked to be invoiced. It would be more efficient if completed jobs just didn't appear in the list.
