    Thanks for all the detail around the different scenarios a pause function for the timer would help with.


    Our team have been taking interest in ideas in the forums here. 

    With the way the timer works with Practice Manager today, developing the ability to pause this would require extensive work and this isn't something we're able to resource at this time.


    As we enhance integrations through practice manager our practice teams will continue to track ideas on the site here, and share if there's any change.

  2. In Report Builder when building many types of reports (including Client & Contact and WIP Ledger), we would like to be able to filter for just one Client Group.
    However, the [Client]Group field is only available in the Fields section, but not the Criteria section of the report. This means we can run a report for all clients and sort by group, but we cannot run a report just for one group.
    This reporting is essential when managing an accounting practice - we need to see WIP Ledger entries pertaining to a particular client group, for billing and KPI purposes.

  3. Many of the to-do items under tasks aren't useful or applicable to us. We would love the ability to add meaningful to-do items to our tasks as a default, not on a job by job basis.

  4. Similar to ability to restrict access to Xero Tax, its critical if we can have the ability to restrict access to certain client details. Currently you can search for any client details and there is no way to restrict access to this information. This functionality would be extra help for partners & staff members who are also clients of the firm.

  6. Bulk edit milestones
    I am trying to utilise the Important Dates page in the Job Manager and there is older jobs that are clogging up the page with overdue milestones that no longer apply. How to I remove all of these in a bulk process? There is over 3000 milestones that need to be removed. Currently support has told me there is no way of doing this apart from deleting each milestone on each job one by one.

  8. An easier way to schedule tasks. A lot of my clients create annual jobs with lots of tasks and want to be able to schedule tasks in the same way you can allocate staff. You hit a button and schedule all the tasks in a list with assignable start and due dates. I have more than 40 clients that I am doing implementation and training and XPM support for, and all of them has asked me for an easier way to do task scheduling.

  9. We are wondering if you could add a script at the phone number field in XPM so that when we click on client's phone numbers, the website will trigger an application (such as Microsoft Teams) to make phone call. This will save us time having to copy and paste phone number onto the application.

Would it be possible to combine the features of Custom reports (in particular the ability to set them as default reports and favourite them for access from the Reports drop-down) with Adviser reports (the ability to format using report codes and practice-wide sharing across any number of client organisations)?

    Right now, a practice has to decide between:

    Customising reports on a per-client basis - an incredibly time-consuming task to set up

    or

    Drafting an Adviser report every time - which can't be set as a default report on the Reports home screen or favourited for easy access and therefore takes…

  14. Being about to print multiple Tax Returns by selecting the box in Returns and having a print options, it would be amazing if you could also select to redact Tax file numbers or choose to print them.
    At the moment I need to print 17 today, I have to go into each individual client and select the tax return, select to print etc. It would save a lot of time being able to print multiples

  16. I often have a draft bill for recurring expenses that I need to edit. When I update the amounts, it updates the total on the bottom, but it doesn't update the amount in the upper right corner (why not?), so I have to edit that as well. This creates another keystroke and mouse move that is annoying. What is the purpose of that total remaining the same after I have made the other changes? It should update automatically.
