  1. I conduct many Zoom meetings and review an existing Word interview checklist and ATO Authorization with my clients. To automate the process, I would like to add my current checklist and ATO authorization with Xero tax fields as a template. When the interview is completed, the checklist and ATO authorization must be sent to the client for signature.

  2. It will be great if Xero has its own separated spreadsheet to keep the record or, ideally, import into the CTR's franking account.

    Currently we have to use third party software to keep track of the franking account, and I have seen some of the tools can import from ATO Portal too via csv / pdf.

  3. Can we have a setting to enable the status section of the Xero destination tab to enable the user to select the status for all documents to be either - draft, awaiting approval or awaiting payment. this save time in having to select this each time a document is uploaded.

  4. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  6. Currently the prepayments page on workpapers is a permanent workpaper which brings forward all of the prior year entries every year. This means that historic prepayments carry through. Currently they can't be deleted which leads to a cluttered workpaper. It would be great if line items that are no longer needed could be deleted. As per the file attached - it would be ideal if the nil rows could all be deleted.

  7. I would like to be able to link a bank login to multiple clients. So if the client has multiple businesses under one login, I should be able to link the bank feed to each Xero file. Currently I can only have one bank connected to one client if they can see multiple businesses on the same login.

  9. Run a report that will show all notes added by a client.

    E.g
    - Client A reviews their xero, and realises the cost centre is incorrect and adds a note (not the description)
    - Manager is reviewing the bookkeeping and wants the bookkeeper to reallocate items and attaches notes to the reports.

    These notes cant currently be ran on a single report.

  10. I’ve noticed that when re-sending an Activity Statement from Xero Practice Manager (XPM), it doesn’t resend the original email but instead generates a new one. This can cause confusion for our clients.

    Is there a way to adjust the settings or implement a fix or at least give us the option so that the original email is re-sent rather than creating a new one?

Would be great on the Jobs panel when sorting jobs by the "State" field that they were sorted by the order of the different states (1 Planned, 2 Job received, 3 In Progress etc.), rather than alphabetically (1. In progress, 2. Job Received. 3. Ready for review) as it makes no sense having jobs listed all out of order as to their actual progress in the workflow chain.

  12. Hi,

    Would be great if we had the ability to stop provisional tax letters being generated for non-clients if their IRD numbers are entered into XPM. This creates a lot more work during prov tax times as the list is long and needs to be reviewed so these letters are not accidently sent.

  13. One of my clients found it very confusing when trying to view & sign a document within Xero sign, as she said there was not an option to view the documents before signing...

    She only saw the option to "Click to Sign" - I advised her she could click this option & would then be able to view the documents before signing, but she was very upset that this option was described as "Click to Sign" & suggested that it should be changed to "Click to Review & Sign" instead.

  14. Have Xero automatically set the flat rate percentage to claim the 1% discount for the first year of registration. This would save time and human error is having to make a manual adjustment.

  15. Bank connections page allowing you to view all clients' bank feed statuses in one central location and easily update the connections for your clients in one go rather than navigating to each client’s account.

Previously, there was a list online which showed all the data fields and which reports contained which fields, which made it really easy to build customised reports that held all the fields I needed, or allowed me to confirm that I needed to combine two separate reports. That list has disappeared.
    Can you please release an updated list of data fields for the report builder for XPM so that it's easy to identify which fields belong in which report?

  17. The ability to hide a Job State (eg Completed) from the quick edit selection and within editing a job, from select users would be great.
    Eliminating the possibility for a user to incorrectly move an open job to a state that should only be closed by the Admin Team.

  19. The ability to see the history of an item's selling pricing within the Invoicing screen would be extremely helpful. Sales staff would be able to quickly access the selling price history of items within the Invoice screen to ensure that the latest price is used on invoices.

    The ability to see this history within the invoice screen will also remove the need to access a separate report in Xero to view the history of inventory item sales price, which will save a lot of time.

  20. Hi There,

    We are wanting to add a new column under the family group view in XPM to show the budget against the open jobs. Making it easier to see what budget has been allocated again each job to make it easier for billing.
