  2. Can you please make it so depending on the answer to a question, it can add in another question? I am setting up templates for client onboarding and I want to ask a question of whether they are already registered for tax. If they say yes, I want another question to pop up asking for their UTR.

  3. It would be really helpful if there was a way of adding a notification dot on the "failed" tab in Hubdocs to alert the user to any documents that have not been published. We have often had documents that have failed but forget to look on the failed tab. A reminder dot would be so helpful and probably quite easy to install into the programme. Is this possible please?

  4. XPM Custom Report - Allow field selection & criteria to access client, tax & invoice data. We need to run a report that will check if a tax return was created within a date range and then check if any invoices were created during that same time. Currently we have created a custom report of clients who we have started a tax return for and then we manually have to check if they were invoiced.

  5. XPM - Lock timesheets when a draft final invoice has been prepared.
    We are having issues with staff adding time to a job when there is a draft Final invoice that has been created. Then the invoice is approved and the added WIP does not get picked up and sits on the now completed job for us to stumble over months later. It makes sense to lock the timesheets when a Final invoice has been drafted.

  6. US Xero Clients have Avalara built into Xero as the Auto Sales Tax feature. With legislation changing significantly around Sales Tax in the US, Canadian Companies who sell into the US would really benefit from having the same feature available to them.

  7. Would be great if we have an option when all new clients are entered - all staff are added automatically as Advisors rather than Managed Client. It currently requires an administrator to go and edit permissions for every new client. Then if security is needed to protect certain client info it can be added by the administrator.

  8. We now have a single client record with HQ & XPM but it still does not pull through the client partner & manager from XPM and allow us to filter this way.

    We would find this feature very helpful when bulk updating client access for our team members when they start or depart.

    We also need to be able to export reports from HQ on the filters we apply. Currently even if a filter is applied the export includes all clients and columns and not what is in the filter display.

  12. Currently the file sizes generated in uploading receipts is unnecessary large - I often see 3Mb for a coffee receipt! This is problematic when onward charging expenses to customers (and requires manually resizing before adding to an invpice which is time consuming) and must be costing you a fortune in data storage. Why isn't the file size limited to a sensible size or at least configurable by the user?

Where clients are subscribers to their own Xero but add an adviser who is linked to a Xero partner practice, it would be useful if there was an option for them to choose to give the practice as a whole access so that if, eg, their contact leaves, the practice administrator can give access to their new contact as long as they are Partner Staff.

  15. Now that you've forcible inserted every single client as a line item in Xero HQ via Single Client Record, we NEED the ability to filter search results to only show client lines with Xero files attached.

    Example: searching for 'Lee' used to result in 3 client Xero files - now it results in 598.

    This is literally unusable.

    EDIT: There is a filter for TYPE of subscription; I do not and could not care less whether a client has a Ledger, GST Cashbook, Starter, Premium, whatever other tier you care to make up.

    I just NEED a tickbox to toggle…

  17. We have been trying to match up a self assessment refund we have received for a client but can't find the matching amount.

    Would be possible to say add an extra line onto the dashboard which shows that year's tax return amount to be paid or refunded.

  18. Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
    We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.

  19. Deposits on Sales and Purchases - will this ever be possible in Xero? The workarounds are fine if you have a few deposits to keep track of. But what if you have many? Like my Art Gallery client where most art is sold on a 'layby' system. The layby isn't recorded as a sale until it is fully paid. The customer makes multiple payments. There is no way to directly link the payments to a pending sale. They all coded on-mass into a prepayment liability account. The only way to keep track of payments is a spreadsheet which is time…

  20. In the Monthly Bank Rec Report can we PLEAASE remove the HUGE, space wasting , obsolete text "The bank balance your bank is showing and Statement balance (calculated) must match. If the balances don't match you'll need to identify why and fix any errors." at least an option to deleted PLEASE!!!
