  1. Have a workpaper for motor vehicle private use adjustments with calculators for FBT, logbook, and mileage reimbursement. Be able to have more than one like the home office workpaper does. And have this roll forward like the home office one does so that you can see the method used by the client and the FBT/logbook values etc.

  3. Removal of 'completed' jobs from the job list when preparing an invoice in XPM.

    Sometimes we invoice a parent client with multiple entities jobs appearing and this can be very hard to navigate when looking for current jobs to invoice - even if the status is marked to be invoiced. It would be more efficient if completed jobs just didn't appear in the list.

  4. It would be great to be able to see the balance owing once the BAS is submitted....have a client in credit and had to log on to my OSFA portal to check the running balance to let them know whether they had to make a payment yet. Would be great to get this data into Xero tax somehow. Anything that avoids us having to use the ATO portal is a great move

Contacts grouping - When exporting clients to a CSV file, being able to see which clients are allocated to which group, I've assigned a group (there's about 8 different groups in total) to 2/3 of my 1500 client list, but now have to sift through 1 by 1 allocate a group to the remaining clients.

  6. So annoying that my published reports remove decimals points every time. PLEASE MAKE THIS CHANGE. Published reports should be saved as is!!! Do not modify my published report XERO! We produce hundreds of these reports every month and have to keep adding the decimal back. This is driving our firm insane!!!

    Hi team, we appreciate your engagement and letting us know how a field for adding a clients date of death would help you when working with Xero. We understand having this field would save time hunting around for info when you're preparing tax returns and other client work, and we want you to know this work is being prioritised for development with our product teams.

    As soon as there's more progress we'll share an update on this, with you all here.

  8. To make it easier to create jobs in XPM it would be useful to have a link to create a new job once you have unsuccessfully searched to see if there is a job already set up for the client. At present you have to log out of job search then create a new job, which involves finding the client name again.

  11. When entering in the Franking Account in a tax return, you should be able to reorder the rows if you enter a date that is not in chronological order. Or alternatively, the system should be smart enough to re-order the rows based on date.

    Next to the date of birth in Xero PM, could you do a little thingy so the age calculates and shows there?
    I've done my best Canva work in the attached to explain better!
    And chose my most favourite clients as an example :)

  13. Allow Hubdoc to publish a receipt to an existing 'BILL' in Xero without creating and new transaction and duplicating the amount. Failure to do this forces the user to upload the receipt directly into Xero files instead or opt not to use the BILL feature in Xero and publish transitions in real time from Hubdoc instead. For those wishing to have all their receipts in a magical shoe box in the cloud (Hubdoc) it appears that this would be a way forward.

  14. I would love to see an improvement with Xero XPM NOTES.

    We seem to leave 2 types of notes.

    TYPE 1: is URGENT, we want people within the firm to see it and read it. It would be good if you could select this note to be a banner across the top of the clients screen. Similar to how if the client has a debt it shows at the top. (love that function)

    TYPE 2: is just an ordinary note that is sufficient with the current design.

    It would also be great if you could share notes across multiple clients…

  15. Integrate a bank statement generator into bank feeds so accountants and bookkeepers can send a request directly to the clients bank for a bank statement for quarterly bank reconciliation. Pre-approved by client when bank feed integration is setup. Alternatively, automated bank statements per quarter generated and uploaded to Xero via bank automation.

  16. Allow for rules to be placed on what to do when data is missing or unable to be grabbed. Ideally for these to be linked by which supplier the order is from or even setting global rules

    Specific Ideas:
    -Setting a default Global Due by date when missing
    -Setting a specific stock line(s) to apply stock to by supplier
    -Setting not to overwrite cost price with default cost price in system.

    Thanks for sharing and supporting in this idea, everyone. Right now, developing GST F5 for foreign currency in Singapore isn't in our roadmap.

    Currently, Singapore organisations can access the GST Audit report that shows the base currency, FX value and Singapore dollar value information you’ll need to meet IRAS requirements.

    You can also use the Foreign Currency Gains and Losses report to show the gains and losses needed for IRAS reporting.

    We'll continue to get a sense of the interest in this idea, and if there are any changes will share news with you here.

  18. Be able to edit sent document packs.

    Purpose: for when clients ask you to send the pack to a different email address or you want to rename the document pack, or add another document.

    Hi community, thanks for your support and sharing in the idea here. Diving into your comments, there are a few different ideas that we're picking up on within this one thread;

    1. ability to change the email address/contact of a sent pack
    2. ability to add additional documents to a sent pack, and
    3. the ability to edit metadata of a sent pack

    For the first, we'd like to better understand what is driving the need to change the email address?  is it down to a typo when entering it? or if its on a tax return, is it wrong on the client record etc?

    Although it's not possible to add additional documents to a pack right now, creating and sending a new document pack is essentially the same - Is there any reason this isn't suitable?

    Lastly, it'd be good to get more substance of how the ability to rename a pack…

  19. Document Packs when resent do not update the "History" in Xero Tax. This means that the most recent reminder in Xero Tax can actually be much more older than that from the Xero Document Pack

    Would be good to see the history in Xero tax use the dates from the reminders sent in the document pack instead of having to leave Xero tax to find out.

    Thanks so much for jumping in and sharing your thoughts on this, community. We really appreciate you taking the time to explain how improvements to Hubdoc's data extraction would help you.

    We see how extracting more detail could help cut down manual data entry, and it's worth highlighting that since this idea was started we've added a few enhancements that may have solved the needs for some in this idea;

    • Upload in Bills - you can now drag & drop or upload bills directly to your Xero organisation which could save you an extra step not having to publish 
    • Credit note detection - Hubdoc can now detect when publishing a Credit Note and will get you to review the document
    • Improved the accuracy of the supplier
