  1. Amend status of timesheet - I accidentally ran a Pay Run without having approved the timesheet. The status of the timesheet then was Approved, and didn't become 'Processed'. An 'Approved' staus meant I couldn't change the calendar setting s etc for the employee. It becasme a challenge to do what was necessary to get the status to 'Processed'.

  2. My Timesheet Information View
    Highlight/Bold the Client name for each entry.
    Make a hyperlink for.
    When reviewing timesheets is easier to think in terms of the client than the job name.

  3. When writing Cheques or payments would it be possible for an auto infill/ recall of the previous payment made to the Payee/Supplier, this would save time if the details are always the same and only the amount may vary, it would ensure that the correct/same account is always used giving consistency.
    Should any of the details differ then these can be input as currently but an auto infill would save me an awful lot of time as I don't have a bank feed to all the bank accounts I oversee.

  4. The ability to run a P&L report per project. So you can see the transactions summarised by account code and monthly. We would like a monthly p&l per project. Or open the API for the transactional project data, so that we can run this report via third parties such as G-Accon.

  5. Would be great to create a report in XPM that shows client bank details so we can identify clients that are missing bank details and need to be followed up. This would also avoid the issue with tax returns being lodged with no bank details recorded.

  6. I personally think Xero has misread their market with the new plans - there are many small businesses on the "Starter" plan and require payroll for 1 person. Their plan will migrate to the new "Ignite" and they will no longer have payroll, similarly businesses using "Standard" with payroll for 2 will migrate to "Grow" and only have payroll for 1 person. Yet there has been no change to the payroll functionality in the Comprehensive plan.

  7. When requesting a transfer of the subscription, display a list of current users so that one can be "ticked" / selected as the receipient. As generally these are the clients anyway.
    This would ensure correct details, as the user name and email address is already in Xero.

  8. It would be great to have a way to setup Tax rate 2 as a default tax on all the tasks so that we don't have to click on every task and select it in the dropdown menu every time we create an invoice. There are 2 taxes that apply to all of our services here in Québec, so Tax 2 is not optional.

  9. IF statement based on variance data.

    I am not sure if Xero HQ is where it needs to be requested, but the FORMULAS in REPORT EDITING are too strict. Please allow FORMULAS to include VARIANCE data/coloumn. I want to create a report that allows FORMULA to be driven from the variance data only - and not include other bulky data not required. For example, in the attached screenshot - I only want to show the GREEN data. TRADING INCOME = a group of accounts, summarised. Variance coloumns are XERO coloumns.   11. Brand new 2024 Tax release and there is STILL nowhere to enter PAYG Instalments paid by a Trust.

    The Trust income tax estimate is therefore incorrect, and I need to manually create it in excel.

    EDIT: And the option to print an estimate (as part of the exported tax return) has disappeared... Couldn't even copy it from 2023 to 2024...

  12. I'm completing my first Trust ITR for 2024, and inputting info into the new Trust Income Schedule.

    The Non-PP income flows through to Item 8, but the Capital Gain isn't flowing through to Item 21...

    WHY do you insist on SO MUCH double entry??!?

    It's not even throwing an error, like the 'Managed Fund' schedule does in an Individual ITR??

The ability to format workpaper queries - currently when you type in a query you can enter paragraphs and do simple formatting or spacing out of the query to make it more readable, but as soon as you close the query, any spacing out of the query is lost and all the words run into each other making queries difficult to read.

  15. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

I would like to be able to send a bank/xero link to connect the AMEX credit card feeds or other banks that enable linking via internet banking, rather than having to add the client as a user in Xero first to be able to connect bank feeds via a link. This seems to complicate the signing of completed financials and tax returns sent from xero to the client for signature. It asks them to login (when their email is connected with a Xero account just so they could link internet banking) and many clients are finding it frustrating.
