  1. Please make it an option to have the sign off on the Tax Return Cover Letter as Manager rather than Tax Agent name. This helps the client know who to refer to if they have any queries.

  2. When entering line items it would be useful to have a way to default the tax settings - default the GST rate, & default the inclusive/exclusive setting. Would save time on the majority of tasks and need changing on a few

  3. Allow for charity funds in balance sheet

    Currently the chart of accounts and balance sheet is set up for company organisations only and doesn't allow the balance sheet to show restricted and unrestricted funds to be rolled over. It would be amazing to be able to use tracking codes to roll forward restricted and unrestricted funds but at least it would be helpful to be able to change the chart of accounts so the balance sheet fully reflects the way charities work.

  4. Can you create an option where payment service fees (Paypal/Stripe...) can be added to an invoice after the invoice has been created and before the payment is processed? This way the fees for the service are paid by the customer.

  5. Xero should be able to edit or delete earning items in payroll settings in bulk rather than one by one. Every year award rate changes and it such a pain to edit each pay item one by one.

  6. Xero Tax(AU) | Worksheet to calulate number of days not liable for M2 (Medicare levy surcharge)

    When some client has more than 1 health insurance policy and the period of the same are diffrent and sometime overlapping we need the work out this manually which can sometime be wrongly caluclated and can impact the tax estimates.

    Xero should have a worksheet where we can enter policy details along with perioid of coverage to that it can calculae the days acurately. Similar feature is avaialble in MYOB AO and comes in very handy.

  9. You heartily pat yourself on the back for a job well done in the latest blog post re: product updates, while missing the point completely.

    Cool, you now hide empty notes in the financials automatically, but you DON'T recast the numbering of the notes, so I still have to go through and click '...' -> 'Hide' anyway.

    Looking at the Balance Sheet before doing this the numbering goes:
    - 2
    - 3
    - 5
    - 15

    Not very professional now, is it.

  10. I would like to request the return of the nice simple professional looking GST Returns and Printouts as the new layout is unsuitable to be sent to Clients and printing out the GST Returns and details now appears spread over more pages.

  11. The Cover Letter shows the Taxable income and refundable/payable amount, can it also then include spousal tax return information so we can send one cover letter for two tax returns.

  12. Losses carried forward have to be manually entered each year. It would be great if the information flowed through automatically from the prior year tax return. This will help to reduce risks that someone may accidently omit or incorrectly enter losses.

  13. Remove all account codes check box upon financial statement publishing

    We need this check box added when we publish our EOFY financial statements - a similar box already exists to remove all decimal places yet we have to manually go to the trading statement, income statement, balance sheet and equity accounts and manually turn off account codes on each page.

    A simple box to remove all account codes when publishing just like the decimal place box would be fantastic

  14. Currently the SB Pool Detail report contains a large number of columns and the report appears cramped and difficult to read due to the smaller font size.

    It would be helpful to have the ability to change the column order and remove excess or un-needed columns, as is possible for the other tax and accounting depreciation schedules.

  16. Make a schedule for allocating partner income and tax credits allocations with a total giving the ability to allocate income on the one page. Currently you have to go into each partner schedule. There is not always an even split of income and with many partner entities it is very time consuming.

  17. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  18. Please add a column in Xero HQ, not unlike "unreconciled items" that notes the STP status of connected Xero organisations. Options to flag in this column are "STP 2 not setup", "[Year] Finalisation outstanding".

  20. PLS Report (EFT Reconciliation Report): Currently it merges first two fields of client name and surname and if that could be fixed with ability to export in .csv / excel please. It would be great if it PLS report could be exported in TrustEasy format to manage fee from refund (attached).
