  1. In XPM, there is a subtotal of all the amounts of each task in the fixed price column. It would be handy to show a subtotal of all amounts for each task in the calculated column. This would allow you to see, at a glance, the write up/down for the invoice.

  2. Only one contact in XPM can be a 'Primary' contact so our correspondence pulls through only the salutation for that contact, however the entity may be a partnership, trust or company and need more than one person included. This means we need to manually add any other salutations, which is not ideal and leaves room for error. The option to add multiple 'Primary' contacts would solve this issue.

  6. It would be nice to be able to store all emails re a client that a NOT job specific under a Client Tab.
    We are able to do for Jobs which is neat but to enable us to store general emails under the client would be good. I guess they would need a unique email address just like the job storage of emails? We have tab for Jobs, Documents etc so one for emails with an address would be nice.

  7. I like how Hubdoc separates the data extraction to "Transaction Details" such as Supplier, Amount and Date. from "Destination Details" Such as Account code and contact..

    We use Tags on the app to create Folders in hubdoc that organise team Expenses & Budgets.

    It would be good to be able to set additional Folder/Tag settings in hubdoc that could over ride the Global Supplier settings in hubdoc when a tag is added.

    Allowing for the Suppler to remain the same but the contact, Tax rate, account and tracking categories to be applied from the Tag/Folder settings.

  8. The US version of Xero doesn't have a tax rate column in the "Chart of Accounts" tab. In other regions of the world (like Australia & England) their version of Xero has access to see that information.

    It seems like a simple addition, as it has already been done, that could only help out those using Xero in the United States.

  9. It would be good if I could setup a google drive file/directory where we can drop invoices into it and they are automatically uploaded to Hubdoc. Other products do this but I would like to fully migrate

  11. Search Receipts for tracking code. Tracking code is usually an address/ location/ or some key word about a product line. The list is known for each customer. Why can't the AI check for words matching the tracking code list and suggest the correct one.

    Competitors can do this and have gone as far as blogging about the ML methods to do this.

  12. To make unaudited financial statements for Community Benefit Society Companies. Although Ltd, it has a unique company registration number, the accounts are submitted via the mutual register. The reporting format is slightly different. It includes, Management Committee Report, Independent Accountant Report and Notes to Financial Statements.

  13. Xero should be able to offer billing in other currencies as currently they are unable to bill Xero Practice Manager in SGD.

    I was advised by Xero support, that this is because they are part of their Global billing in Practice Manager, so it will automatically be billed in USD.

    However, their Xero Accounting invoices are billed in Singapore Dollars, so not too sure why similar principles don't apply?

  14. Have a master overview of Xero accounts from different offices.
    The offices administrators staff level can only see their own Xero clients unless added to the master overall practice.

  16. Some of the newer features/upgrades in Xero now limit the format that can be entered for the date e.g. bank reconciliation 'reconcile' tab, invoicing and fixed assets, or the field doesn't allow you to type the date at all (forces the user to use the calendar).

    Please allow any date format to be used in all date fields in Xero. The functionality of the date fields in the 'account transactions' tab of bank reconciliation is perfect - please use that logic)

    Suggested formats to allow:
    spaces
    dashes -
    slashes /
    dots/full stops .

  17. Currently NZ clients can make payments to a Tax Pooling provider (e.g. Tax Traders or TMNZ) and they will sit in the Tax Pooling Providers account until transferred to IRD.
    In the clients mind they have 'paid this tax' already, but when the tax return is prepared in XPM there is no sign of any tax pooling payments, and it shows the full tax liability.

    It would be great if there was a way to type in how much has been paid to Tax Pooling, and record this on the front page of the tax return so there is a…

  18. In Xero Tax, you can enter "Any other payments or credits on account" to show what a client has already paid towards their tax bill. But you can't enter a negative figure (i.e. a refund already received for a return that is being amended) and there is nowhere to add in any outstanding tax from a previous return etc so that the payments report factors this in.

    It would be good to be able to have some additional boxes to show these please.

  19. Hi Team,

    I hope you are doing well.

    It would be wonderful to see the addition of a report or feature that clearly separates superannuation contributions into two categories: paid on time and paid late. This enhancement would significantly streamline our review process, saving time and reducing the need to manually reconcile data from the existing Super Payable and Super Paid reports.

    Having a clear overview of super compliance status within a single report would also assist in ensuring accurate deduction claims and meeting ATO obligations without additional checks.

  20. Expand the permissions of preparing tax returns, by separating the unlock function of a tax return into 3 stages:
    1) Complete
    2) Approve, out to sign, archive
    3) Filed

    The separation of duties can then be clearly identified in firms, from the following:
    (1) being the worker,
    (1) & (2) being the manager/director, and
    1), (2), & (3) being tax lodger administration and high level management.
