Hubdoc - Delete Button
Naturally, when emailing in invoices and receipts, we end up with extraneous items in the Docs Pane on the left hand side. To delete these, we currently only have a small 'delete' button in the far top right corner, followed by a confirmation message in the centre of the screen.
It'd be great if the UI was updated to have either:
- a delete button closer to the Docs Pane on the left hand side
- some right click functionality, to allow us to delete documents
- some keyboard shortcuts to allow us to process these items much quickerI…

Porting of Credit card Credits as negative expenses
Allow for credit card credits to be posted as negative expenses. This will permit matching in QBO bank section. Currently credit card credits are not matchable and cause confusion with client staff unaware of what to do with these orphan transactions in QBO.

Practice Manager - Auto select 'ATOmate Fee For Service' when 'Deduct fee from refund' is checked
It would be great if you can automate the ticking in of this 'ATOmate Fee For Service' (under client details) whenever 'Deduct fee from refund' is selected on the tax return currently in process. And if in the next financial year's tax return it is no longer fee from refund, 'ATOmate Fee For Service' will automatically be unticked.

XPM | AU Payroll - Notifications when a pay run is paid
It would be really helpful to receive notifications when a client pays their payrun.
Especially for our large PAYG Withholding clients, where we send them an email of the tax withholding payable. As large PAYG Withholders only have a roughly a week to pay, an email notification would be a timer saver. As we wouldn't need to log in to check that the pay run has been paid.

XPM | Recurring jobs - Label place holders
It would really make my life easier if you could please allow the [Month] [Year] option to label on the task for recurring jobs. This would allow us to see in blue Xero the label of the task namely month and year when invoicing our clients. This would be really helpful when identify numerous jobs and tasks for the same client as the job name does not appear on the invoice in blue Xero. Also, with using the [Month] feature, it would roll over in the next recurring job on its own.

Xero HQ Insights - P&L Data & Selection options
Hi,
For the Profit and Loss data (Revenue/ Expense/ Net Profit), should be an option to select last month as currently it's bringing up mid month data and comparing with full month information (ie. running the report 20th October and comparing with either full month Sep 2024 or full month October 2024. A lot of clients invoice end of month or after month end so adds little comparison value.
For Cash Balances, ability to select which bank accounts are displayed might be worth considering. Currently showing loans, which skews the information into negative.

Hubdoc - Client approval to automatically pull loan statements, mortgage statements and bank balances
There are three documents that we are often chasing clients for as accountants in order to do accounts or self assessments -
- Loan statements which show the year-end balances and the interest amounts (for example on the bounce-back loans).
- Bank statements which show the year-end balance to check the accounting software pulled in all the data correctly.
- Mortgage Interest statements (for self-employed clients who work from home or landlords on their self-assessments).We do ask the clients for these, but it's often difficult and very time-consuming for the client to get hold of (and sometimes they just…

XPM - Group Custom Fields
Group Custom Fields - it would be very useful to be able to assign custom fields to groups rather than only contacts & individuals, then be able to report on these fields. This would help with areas such as marketing, estimated fee groups, and handover notes.
We currently use the main billing entity but this would save a lot of time and improve efficiencies.

XPM - Reorder timesheet entries so the most recent is at the top
XPM Timesheets/Timeclock - The ability for the saved time to be ordered from the most recent time to the first time entries of the day so you can quickly see when you last entered time, as a start point. This saves a whole lot of scrolling if you have a lot of entries for the day.

Job Manager - More Info on Dates
In Job Manager, please include the following dates to allow better management of workflow and practice objectives to better service clients:
- Job Received Date (from client) - make this editable, but history of changes is recorded and viewable.
- Job Start Date (when job was started on, or triggered, for recurring ones)
- Job STATE Due Date (for the specific Job States)
- Job FINAL Due Date (eg. based on deadlines or Practice's targets, eg. within 8-12 weeks of receiving the Job)
- Last Actioned Date (this can sit within the Comments/Notes column within Job Manager view, just as so many others have requested***).

UK Tax | SA100 - Auto add bank details
Automatically add firm bank details to SA100. Most client refunds go directly into our client account and have to be entered manually each time. A way to select from saved details would save time.

Xero HQ - AML Name List Screening within Xero
AML Name List screening:
As it is a known fact that accountants and bookkeepers must screen or conduct name list screening for individual owner that control >25% share of the company. I my former software Nomisma and Capium, accountant can conduct name list screening within the system without the need for additional subscription.
Once the name list screening is conducted, the result is saved under the individual.
I believe if this implemented in Xero it will make Xero one-stop-shop without the need for using other software.

NZ Tax | PAYE - Show IRD number without downloading
NZ Tax - PAYE - Tax and Filings report. Amount payable screen does not record the IRD number. Have to download the pdf to get the IRD number. Been waiting for this amendment for years.

XPM | Activity statement - Resend original email
I’ve noticed that when re-sending an Activity Statement from Xero Practice Manager (XPM), it doesn’t resend the original email but instead generates a new one. This can cause confusion for our clients.
Is there a way to adjust the settings or implement a fix or at least give us the option so that the original email is re-sent rather than creating a new one?

XPM - Jobs ordered by state on Job Manager
Would be great on the Jobs panel when sorting jobs by the "State" field that they were sorted by the order of the different states (1 Planned, 2 Job received, 3 In Progress etc.), rather than alphabetically (1. In progress, 2. Job Received. 3. Ready for review) as it makes no sense having jobs listed all out of order as to their actual progress in the workflow chain.

XPM - Hide job state for certain staff
The ability to hide a Job State (eg Completed) from the quick edit selection and within editing a job, from select users would be great.

We are wanting to add a new column under the family group view in XPM to show the budget against the open jobs. Making it easier to see what budget has been allocated again each job to make it easier for billing.
