As a UK accountancy practice based in in Northern Ireland, it would be great if our Regulatory Body, Chartered Accountants Ireland was available for us to choose as an out of the box Accountants Report. This would then allow us to use this for Company Accounts and then to use the 'default report' option for Sole Traders, who require a different type of Accountants Report.

  2. I’ve noticed that when re-sending an Activity Statement from Xero Practice Manager (XPM), it doesn’t resend the original email but instead generates a new one. This can cause confusion for our clients.

    Is there a way to adjust the settings or implement a fix or at least give us the option so that the original email is re-sent rather than creating a new one?

  4. Would be great on the Jobs panel when sorting jobs by the "State" field that they were sorted by the order of the different states (1 Planned, 2 Job received, 3 In Progress etc.), rather than alphabetically (1. In progress, 2. Job Received. 3. Ready for review) as it makes no sense having jobs listed all out of order as to their actual progress in the workflow chain.

  5. The ability to hide a Job State (eg Completed) from the quick edit selection and within editing a job, from select users would be great.
    Eliminating the possibility for a user to incorrectly move an open job to a state that should only be closed by the Admin Team.

  6. Hi There,

    We are wanting to add a new column under the family group view in XPM to show the budget against the open jobs. Making it easier to see what budget has been allocated again each job to make it easier for billing.

  7. I have recently subscribed to Sharesight for my Super Fund share portfolio as it integrates with Xero. Sharesight doesn't handle multicurrency bank accounts well but it does sync bank statements from Xero so by using multicurrency bank accounts in Xero and them syncing them to Sharesight the value is added to the portfolio valuation and the historical cost is handled correctly in Xero. Sharesight offers Xero Cashbook plans to their subscribers but I am sure there would be more subscribing if they could have multicurrency as I have seen a lot of subscribers complaining about not been able to use…

  8. Merge contacts (not clients) in XPM? I seem to have lots of duplicates but I don't want to just delete the ones with no jobs/invoices attached to them incase they are linked elsewhere. Is there a way to merge them? All the searches I have done only talk abut merging clients.

  9. When requesting a transfer of the subscription, display a list of current users so that one can be "ticked" / selected as the receipient. As generally these are the clients anyway.
    This would ensure correct details, as the user name and email address is already in Xero.

  11. Whilst this currently auto calculates, there is no calculation in Xero to confirm the return has the correct amount. This has to be checked manually, which can leave room for errors and requires extra work by users. It would be more efficient if the system could check this.

  13. A number of our clients simply use hubdoc as a filing system as publishing to Xero is not as simple as they would like.
    So we maintain their Hubdoc accounts, we update the document type and archive. It would savea huge amount of time if we could bulk edit and bulk archive rather than having to do this one document at a time.

  15. Hi All, As we are based in Northern Ireland we have a lot of clients that purchase from both sides of the boarder, and are required to submit intrastat declarations on a monthly basis, however unlike Sage, this information can not be stored in Xero and then exported to submit to HMRC.

    It would make reporting this information so much easier.

  16. On the timesheet entry page, allow users to type keywords in the "Job" section and show search results.
    At present you have to click the dropdown, which lists all open jobs, and then find the job you are working on.

  17. It would be great if we could use Collaboration Manager to assign emails directly to the Client, rather than a Job or a Quote. These emails would then be automatically stored under the Notes tab in the Clients screen.

  18. Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

    Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.

    As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.

    Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.

    While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

    Looks like your idea my have been cut off here, Oliver - Is there any more detail you'd like to share with this? While the Income by Contact report will show totals, you can easily click on an amount which will drill down to the contact activity for that period.


  20. Provide the ability to schedule requesting on a daily basis the EFT Reconciliation reports in XPM, currently being a manual request locked behind Business settings permissions.
    Provide also the resulting reports in either a Custom Reports area or standard reports so admin staff without the Business Settings permissions can view the ATO EFT reconciliation reports, filtered by date and Tax Agent Number. Possibly add a permission to view these reports as a separate permission.
