  2. Having the ability to create a separate set of work papers for the practice that is confidential and not visible to all users.
    At the moment staff can see the practices private and confidential financial information.

  3. Ability to connect to connect to the ATO and lodge activity statements where connected to multiple practices.
    We can lodge for clients we hold subscriptions for, but not for clients who self subscribe and grant us access.
    Have been advised if you're connected to multiple Xero HQ practices with the same email address and you try to lodge activity statements in Xero with the ATO, you'll get the error message – SBR.GEN.AUTH.006. This is because Xero can't determine which practice you're lodging activity statements in.

  5. As an accounting firm, we use many platforms for our clients, including Dext.
    During the Dext webinar today, we see that they have an amazing 'rule' section for vendors/customers with multiple line items. The description column is recognized and categorized to the assigned acct.

    My question to you......does (or will) HubDoc have this option available?

    I do see the 'Add last items' option, but this is not useful. I have attached a vendor invoice summary for reference

  6. It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.

    This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.

    Hi Vicki, while Xero acquired Hubdoc, these are still two quite separate products. We don't have any plans for renaming tags in Hubdoc, or vice versa for Tracking in Xero. We'll get a sense of the interest for this here, however I do want just want to be open from the get go that this isn't in our plans. 

  9. Bulk Completion of Jobs
    Our team mark jobs as ready to invoice. It would be great if the billing team can click next to (select) mutliple jobs and click on a complete button without completing the jobs individually.

  10. It would be good if the date on the compilation statement updates to the "todays date" instead of it staying as the date of when we copy and edit the previous years financial to the current year.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the continued interest in the timer in Practice Manager. As mentioned in my last update, work for a Pause option would require a lot of work, and it's not something we have plans for right now.

    However, we understand this is important to our customers and when our team have more capacity we'll explore how we might develop solution for this.

    We will keep let you know if there is any progression to share here.

  13. Is it possible to add a few extra columns to XPM - All jobs board rather than creating different reports or clicking on different jobs/pages to collate basic client information. I would like to add the following columns to assist with Trusts and Superfunds.

    -Trustee/Company Name
    -Invoice Number

    Currently, if you invoice a Trust e.g. ABC Family Trust for XYZ Pty Ltd (Trustee), I would like to see both entities in Jobs board and not just ABC Family Trust. This comes in handy when chasing payments or matching jobs as a result in separate jobs linked to a Trust or…

  14. XPM include archived clients in XERO search / list endpoints. Similarly, to how contacts in the accounting API are handled by passing the includeArchived=true query. This will allow clients from XPM with a status of ARCHIVED to be included in the response.

  17. It would be really helpful if there was a way of adding a notification dot on the "failed" tab in Hubdocs to alert the user to any documents that have not been published. We have often had documents that have failed but forget to look on the failed tab. A reminder dot would be so helpful and probably quite easy to install into the programme. Is this possible please?

  18. It would be great to see the tax refund/payable next to the tax return in the client view, tax returns tab, saves opening up the tax form. Would also be good to see the assigned staff member in the jobs tab in client view, saves clicking into job.

  19. Xero HQ Should have functionality to generate Ledger, profit and loss account and balance sheet for all the clients in one go under sitting under practice. This will help to understand clients business performance etc and will make peer comparison easier.

  20. We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
    The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.

    Hi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?
