Contact Notes
This would help a lot!
What :Can the notes section be made available to view from Contacts tab .
Why : You have to click on files to see it
How: If it is there I can see if I have to watch out for anything specific ..i.e rate change or new bank details

You can add notes about your contact that will be displayed on Contact details tab of a Contact record. Appreciate still maybe not as efficient as you'd like ti to be but maybe a little more prominent and save a click 🙂

AU Tax- Ability to assign draft Activity Statements
Would love the ability to assign practice team members to activity statements so you can see from within Xero Tax the workflow of which team members are assigned to which AS.

Transaction list showing unapplied payment amount
We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.2 votesHi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?

Practice Manager | Jobs - Ability to update job Tax Return is associated
Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

XPM | Clients - Ability to see notes at group level
It would be incredibly helpful for us to be able to view the notes on a profile when you view it at group level.
Currently we don’t use this feature because when a note applies to a whole group (which it often does), how do you know what entity or individual within the group to record the note against.
Creating the view to see all notes for a group it won’t matter so much where the employee decided to leave that note.

Practice Manager | Add Office 365 (sharepoint) as a document management option
You have 4 other online cloud document management systems listed via XPM. We use SharePoint and would request this to be added as a further option to link our programs for efficiency and easy of use.
We would then like tasks to be setup in jobs, that we can "link" documents in Sharepoint, to tasks/jobs in XPM.

Reports - Add "does not contain" filter
Currently the report's filters only available to filter thing that " contain " in the respective categories. Can you please also include the option "do not contain" - so that we could produce report to omit things that we would not wish to include. Thank you

Hubdoc - Auto-Archive for specific supplier
I would like to set an 'auto archive' rule at a supplier level. This would be useful for expense which have a bank rule set up in Xero. Eg Xero subscription bills, other subscription invoices.

CUSTOMER AND SUPPLIER Journals needs to be added to the system????? And a proper detailed CUSTOMER AND SUPPLIER DETAILED LEDGER - Without the allocation of payments AND credit note splits with THE ACTUAL DETAIL on the bank and jnls so that one can see what is going on. XPM - Manage XPM Client notes using API
We currently integrate with a range of practice management software, and have a recurring request from customers using XPM to have us add notes to client records when certain actions are taken.
Currently, adding or updating notes is not possible via the API, however documents can be managed via the API. Client notes are useful as they allow important communications with a client to be logged against that client for future reference.

As a dedicated Xero partner, I've been leveraging the capabilities of the XPM Suite in conjunction with Seamlss to manage and streamline my operations. While the current integration offers a range of functionalities, I've observed that the existing API limitations are hindering our efficiency.
One of the most pressing concerns is the manual transfer of sensitive client data, especially Bank Details. My administrative team often finds themselves in the tedious and risky position of copying and pasting this critical information due to the API constraints. Xero Tax - PAYG Instalments Estimate For Individuals pre-ticked
PAYG Instalments Estimates pre-ticked
The Print PAYG Instalments payable on the individual tax return Estimate page defaults as "No". This needs to be manually turned on, and even if the client has generated instalments it will not appear on the tax return unless manually selected. Preparers and reviewers may miss this. If it was set on as default then it would not be missed.

XPM | Report builder - Option to print clients on separate pages
It would be good when printing the WIP ledger for unbilled clients to have the option to print each client separately. i dont want to have to individually tick my clients just to get there report on a single page.

Xero Practice Manager | iPad - Search job name
When accessing through ipad browser (chrome/safari/edge), if entering time through the dashboard, there is not the function to start typing a job name and the list to match with the name typed. This function is avaialble on desktop. This means users need to scroll through the list to get to client name, then click/tap on it. Requesting the desktop site does not work.

Xero tax(AU) - Hide sensitive information when printing returns
In Xero Tax when we save the completed tax return for the client as PDF for email, is there an option to hide other sensitive information in addition to the TFN, such as date of birth, address and bank details.

AU Tax | Trust distribution income in Company tax returns - attached franking credits to flow through to tax offsets section
Currently there is no option to create a worksheet behind the trust distribution income at 6E, when completing company tax returns with a trust distribution income (eg from investments). You need to enter the gross distribution at 6E and record attached franking credits separately in the calculation statement at 'Refundable tax offsets'. It creates confusion for some of the junior staff as they can easily put this amount at 7J as franking credits which isn't correct.
