  4. Hi we really need the homepage Bills widget to display bills due for payment TODAY.

    We receive a lot of bills and we pay them on the due date.

    Currently it is not easy to find bills due today among all the bills awaiting payment.

    The widget displays overdue bills, it could easily show shows due today so we can easily display and pay them.

    Appreciate your feedback, and explaining how viewing bills due today from the homepage would help your business, Rick.

    Right now we're watching all feedback we're getting about the new Homepage closely. We'll get a sense of the community interest for this here and share if there are any updates. Thanks

  5. There should be a widget that shows current bank balance, that includes future payments. The current one only shows bank statement balance, and balance in Xero that only shows up to the current date. But when paying bills, it's nice to know the current balance after other future payments to have a full idea of cash flow available. This widget should then also follow through to the bills pages so I can pay bills and see my balance in real-time to make better plans of which and when bills should be paid.

  6. Add employee homepage calendar to main homepage as a widgets. You have no idea how many employee birthdays i have missed and that would solve that problem!!!! Sounds like an easy one

  8. Looking at the new interface at https://www.xero-reimagined-nav-hp.com/ the widgets fly in from the side, and the charts all animate from zero to their full value. I have an accessibility requirement to have reduced motion, and have selected this option on my computer which the new Xero website is ignoring. Websites can use this selection as shown in https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/prefers-reduced-motion and https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Techniques/css/C39. Can you please implement the best practice for accessibility, and ensure all users can comfortably use your updated website by removing unnecessary animation when requested with the reduce motion option?   9. Quotes Need a bit of work, You've just added ability to generate a link - that's great, however, still can't share quote in the app.

    While creating a quote for a new customer - you can't add any of their details (but you can if you create an invoice), you have to create new customer first then go back to creating a quote, we have a lot of new customers just walking in.

    Often we'll start on an Invoice Page and we can't just change that invoice to quote once it's started. Is it possible to change invoice to quote…

    Hi Adam, thanks for sharing this idea. We can see how needing to leave the Quotes screen to update a phone number or address interrupts your momentum.

    At the moment, the option is to create a basic contact and then update their details from the Contacts menu afterward. While that works, we understand that being able to enter or edit everything in one place would make the process smoother.

    I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can track interest and highlight to our product teams how in-screen editing could simplify the quoting workflow.

    Just a quick note — we’re only able to track one idea per post. If you have additional suggestions, please raise them as separate ideas so we can accurately monitor the traction and feedback for each one.

  10. On the "Invoices owed to you widget" please add a button to go straight to "repeating invoices." You currently have "New invoice" and "View all invoices." It looks like you have room to add "Repeating invoices." You could change the text from "View all invoices" to "All invoices" if you needed more room.

    Hi Maggie, appreciate you for sharing your idea and explaining how this would fit into your workflow. It’s helpful to understand where quicker access could make things run more smoothly day to day.

    We’ve moved this idea into Gaining Support, so it’s now open for the community to add votes and comments. Seeing how others respond will help us understand how widely this need is shared.

    As a short-term workaround, you could bookmark the Repeating Invoices page in your browser or pin that tab so it’s always within easy reach. It’s not quite the same as having a dashboard shortcut, but it can help shave off some time while we continue to gather feedback.

  11. VISUAL: Adaptive layout & zoom to fit?

    I use my widescreen monitor to use two windows side-by-side, but then the Xero window has a lot of negative space around the tabs (see image) and the only way I can find to make this larger is to zoom in the browser, but that makes all the browser items zoomed, which I don't want. If I enlarge the Xero tab, the layout adjusts to a sweet spot, but that also doesn't fit nicely on full screen, and I end up clicking between things more than is efficient, so it should ideally sit…

    Thanks for your feedback, Paul. Good to hear the different details that our customers would find most helpful at a glance. While we don't have plans for adding a recently paid bills widget like the invoices one just at this time we'll start to track interest in this here and I'll update you if there's any news.

  13. In the old version I had an additional column where I could see invoices owed for "last week". This has now been removed and all invoices for last week are in the "older" column. I would like this column back as I found it very useful. I would need to be able to resize the widget in order for this to fit on my screen because there is so much white space to the right of my laptop screen that this widget is cutting off slightly to the right.

  14. Ability to choose favourite apps and add them either to the top menu bar or the homepage. It will turn 2 clicks into 1 click which seems picky but when launching hubdoc often it would really speed things up

    Hi everyone, thanks for bringing this idea to the community! Having an “Income in Advance” widget right on the dashboard would give you an instant view of your future revenue, helping you see your financial position without extra clicks.

    At the moment, this usually means running specific reports or manually calculating deferred income, which can slow down your daily workflow. In the meantime, you can run the Cash Flow Manager, which shows projected cash in and out, or keep a starred Balance Sheet or custom tracking report in your Favorites for quicker access.

    I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can track interest and show our product teams how helpful this visibility would be for managing cash flow.

  19. The new Dashboard can be huge and challenging to navigate if you have multiple bank accounts. It will be helpful to have a section with ALERTS at the top of the page.

    Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion! We can see how having the "Items to Reconcile" alerts visible while scrolling would make daily bookkeeping faster and more seamless. It’s all about helping you stay on top of your work without extra clicks or screen-jumping.

    For now, you can use the 'Bank Accounts' widget or the Tasks widget to see if there's any items to be reconciled, but we know a persistent global bar would make this even easier.

    I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support to get more perspective from the community, so we can show our product teams the value this would bring.

  20. A widget to quickly locate "most recent invoices put in system".

    We use Xero in our retail store and sometimes we end up DOUBLING up invoices for one order (paperwork is picked up by another helpful person to put in, but has already been put in).
    Also good for tracking daily invoices/orders placed.

    Good to know the different elements that our customers find would help them rom the Homepage, Merlin. We'll continue to get a sense of the interest in this here.

    For the time being just to make sure you're aware - The History & notes report is probably most useful to you atm for getting a view of this. You'll be able to run the report for an individual all or users across your organisation and can filter to select only Invoice for Type. Once run if you type 'Created in the search box this'll further zone into just the invoice created by the selected users with in the date range. 🙂
