Auto bank rec | Settings - Show on the Dashboard
Having settings visible from the dashboard (eg. bank account widget) would reduce clicks needed to find out which accounts have the feature on/off.
Hi team, thanks for the additional insights to those that have shared via the poll in my last update - You can still rank the importance of stats with us anonymously through the link here. 😊
It's truly valuable to get this feedback from customers to understand what insights would be most valuable for our customers to see and action on quickly.
Right now we don't have immediate plans, but we'll take these learnings into future planning to continue to develop automated bank rec, and I'll share if there are any updates with you all here.

Hi team, to confirm this idea is Accepted as although this feature isn't on the roadmap right now we understand how useful it could be to customers to have more visibility of how auto bank rec is performing for your organisation and it is a feature that we'll continue to consider closely through on-going development planning. Should there be any updates I will share these with everyone on this idea.

Accuracy is need on
- deciding when to post as Bill or when to post direct expense. It is observed that there are some bank spendings which directly posted to contact while we use to post the bill for the contact and then apply the payments.
- This also arise a question on selecting VAT applicability. -

Is this 'Accepted' as the ideas status suggests, or is it rejected as your message content suggests "Right now we don't have immediate plans"?

Your concern about auto bank reconciliation is understandable, especially when accuracy directly affects reporting and compliance. Having clear visibility and control over whether the feature is enabled would definitely help prevent unnecessary corrections later. Improved transparency in system settings would make workflows smoother and reduce BAS-time adjustments. Once I've switched off/opted out I do NOT want to see it again.

I think this is critical as I am quite concerned about auto bank reconciliation. Its a feature I dont like in MYOB as it gets too many things wrong. Hopefully the Xero AI model will be better. A lot of my clients are the subscribers to their files and I can see them turning this feature on before I have input making lots of rectification work for me at BAS reporting time. I would like to see easily if it is on or not so I can control that.

To save on unnecessary clicks / comms once a pre-defined task / process has been completed, why can't Xero automatically send a RSS feed to the next in line to review or progress the task thereafter.
For example, (say) a bookkeeper completes a bank reconciliation, or aged debtors review, or aged payables reconciliation task on a monthly basis. Once finalised, say a question is posed "Have you completed this task ?" or a field is made available within Xero for the concluding team member to click to close this function as part of an Audit trail and in so doing the next in line, say Reviewer or Partner receives a RSS feed into their Workpaper To Do List to progress through.

I would like to see the "lock date" on the dashboard.

Or having a default by firm or by organization in "MyXero" or "XeroHQ", then the ability to turn off for a bank account if needed.
