Kelly, what's the progress on such a fundamental accounting package function?

There are so many improvements in AI coding now days, how is this not something that has been rolled out as part of New Invoicing? Reduce manual workload please! Please add a recurring statement option for us like recurring invoices.

Today, a customer has asked to be sent monthly statements, a very reasonable request, which they have a right to feel entitled to. What WE don't want is to have to do this manually, so let me add my voice to the many, many I see here - DO IT PLEASE XERO!

Why is this basic function not included?

Is there any update on automatic statements for customers one of our requests it every month to reconcile and make a payment. If you can send out Invoice reminders surely the auto statement function is just as easy if not easier?

Have needed this for so long. Team has to manually download them and send every month. If we forget we don't get paid. Extremely annoying! Would really appreciate if Xero could build in automation on this - even as simple as a check box on the automated invoicing that says 'automatically send statement with invoice'. That's all we need.

Why is this on the backburner? Is it to protect apps like Stately?

I agree that automatic statements are basic functions for an accounting software - that neither the practice and or its clients should pay for.

Zoho allows one to attach a statement to an invoice when one sends out an invoice - surely Xero should follow suit in this regard.

I guess that's where https://www.statey.app has come from. I'm currently paying the £8 monthly to send a PDF on 1st to each customer with an outstanding balance.
Still not quite what I need as some customers want a statement even if their balance is £0.
It needs to be inside Xero really so I can set it on a per account basis with some variables like
"Always send (even if balance is £0)"
"Send when there are 30+ day invoices"
"Send when there are 1+ day invoices"

If everyone using Xero chips in a few $ im sure we could just pay some IT guy wanting to start a business to create a new software package for the people by the people.. Start listening to your customers Xero.. One day it will be too late.

This would be great function because not everyone wants a statement but particular clients who are always late in paying - they would benefit from having one sent automatically at the end of each month.

This is such a business-critical item, along with sending statements and invoices to different email accounts. This should have been done long ago.

This feature should be an essential. W e have all been waiting far too long for this to be implemented. Can we have an update on the likely roll-out for this critical feature.

April 23 Xero response, and yet where we are 20 months on and no movement forwards.
Accounts software should be all about time saving, surely this feature is paramount. If it hasn't got enough votes its because the users are all too busy doing manual statement runs.

So long overdue it hurts, how can a company sell accounts software without this feature. Surely it would take a good dev team about half an hour to implement this.

Xero does not give a Rats **** about the requirements of their clients, only about taking their money...

This should be a basic function of any accounting software.

being able to chose if statement chasing for overdue instead of per invoice chasing would be extremely helpful! Would be great if we could set up the overdue reminders for statements!!

This is a critical tool that at the moment is a labour intensive monthly task that shouldnt be if it had the same functionality as the set invoice reminders on or off.
This will need to be when you set a new customer up as each individual customer has different requirements including customers that done want to be bothered with reminders.

this is really an easy fix and will change Xero users lives giving them more time to concentrate on their businesses !!
