History needs to show when an invoice has been copied and which invoice it has been copied from and to.

    This is a vital feature, which enables efficiency and easy tracking. The ability to track with links should be a feature when copying to and from all functions.
    Why are you guys changing so many features that now make it harder for users to work efficiently?! Xero used to be brilliant, but now more clicks are required to perform tasks that used to be simple, features have been removed and you've added what you deem 'important' upgrades, but all you have to do is look at your feedback and see you now have many disgruntled users!

    When I copy an invoice to a new invoice, the NEW invoice does not record in history the details of the invoice it was copied from (used to in classic invoicing).
    This makes it nearly impossible to track back to the original if any changes made on the new version need to be reviewed/compared to the original.

    This is NOT a new feature - it was a VITAL feature that you removed/failed to replicate in new invoicing.
    Please reinstate it soonest.

    We copy invoices all the time for streamlining, this was in old invoicing and find critical for busy months.

    in the old blue xero invoice system - you can view notes of how invoices were copied to

    and for copied invoices - it will show a note where it was copied from.

    In New Invoicing History - please add a link back to the invoice copied to create the new invoice. This was a critical feature in old invoicing still not there in new invoicing.

    This should be across the board, any time you are able to copy a document to another document it should create a link. The leaves a clear history. If I copy from an invoice there is a reason and I want a link. There could be an option to create this history link or not in the copy to option list if it just happening for every transaction causes some people issues.

    Hello, I know in the old invoicing, it did have this information in the "History & Notes" section if an invoice was copied and the original invoice if it was copied onwards.
    It was really useful to track where the invoices came through without having to open every invoice. I am not sure why Xero has taken this feature away, but it would be really useful and time saving to have this feature back.
