It would be great to have a payroll template that can be customised similar to (import bank statement) to use for bulk upload of employee pay especially where salary changes every month and there are various pay items on the payslips.
We have clients who have multiple pay items for over 120 employees every month so the pay is never the same. A template similar to that used for manual import of bank statement will be ideal and would reduce the time it takes to do the payrun.

At the moment you can only manually change individuals data, and that means if a few employees change some personal details, or we have multiple changes of salary due to inflation etc, then it takes a while. It would be great if we could upload en masse similar to new employees.

During this 'cost of living' crisis, some employers are reviewing salaries more than once a year. Updating employee's salaries one by one is very time consuming, particularly if you have a large number of employees.
I started using Xero payroll recently and I'm beginning to think that Xero is more suitable for small companies and medium sized companies should use a different package -

If a pay increase is implemented across the board then currently, the only way to amend employees salary amount is to enter each record manually. If you have a large number of employees this is extremely time consuming.
If a salary scale was used and assigned to employee records, it could be uplifted by a percentage and all records would automatically update.
