Payroll NZ/UK - New Timesheets, view in alphabetical order.

The new timesheet - it would be great if the names can be in alphabetical order. Like they were on the previous version.

Hi Denise and everyone who’s supported this idea. Apologies it’s taken us a while to update you here.

We released the new timesheet experience for NZ and UK Payroll in March 2025, and very quickly heard how important alphabetical ordering was for finding and reviewing employee timesheets.

In April 2025, we updated the new timesheet view so that employee timesheets display in alphabetical order. Thank you again for speaking up and helping us improve this experience.

    First time using the new timesheets and it is not helpful being in the order they are now produced in.
    Quick resolution to this would be good.

    We have several earnings rates Eg. Normal Time, Saturday, Sunday, etc and for each earnings type, there are several rates. We have these set up in Xero and they display in Alphabetical order under 'Pay Items'.

    However, when staff are completing their timesheets in Xero Me, all of the earnings rates are out of order (in fact they are in no particular order!) which makes it very hard for employees to complete their timesheets correctly. We have over 45 staff and approximately 30 earnings rates, therefore having them in random order in Xero Me causes many timesheet errors.

    I am suggesting that XeroMe Earnings Rates are listed in alphabetical order.
