Xero Me - Technical issues during employee invitation process
Currently, when employees do not accept their Xero invitation immediately, they frequently encounter errors stating they are no longer part of the organization or lack access. Even after resetting their passwords, the issue persists. This requires our administrators to manually delete the user and resend the invitation, which often fails again if not accepted instantly.
As I manage 10 Xero organizations and over 500 employees, this manual workaround is highly inefficient. I would like to propose the following improvements:
- Automated Invitations: Implement a system where invitations are managed automatically to ensure consistent access.
- Self-Service Support: Provide employees with direct access to troubleshooting resources so they can resolve invitation and login issues independently.

You’re correct that invitations expire after 14 days. Once an invite has expired, the employee will need to be re‑invited and they’ll need to accept the new invite rather than trying to use the old one.
